This was my first book from Rose Chase and she blew me away with her writing!!! I haven’t read/listened to many mafia romance and this book has me begging for more.

The audio…OMFFFGGGGG!!!! Molly and Cole NAILED IT! I could not stop listening and stayed up many nights because I wanted to keep going. Their voices were perfect and went together so well.

Angel, the FMC, is a complete bad@$$! She is the daughter of the Triad leader. She wants little to do with that life, but her father is in a coma and her stepmother is in charge.

Nikolai is the leader of the Bratva and whew! He is the possessive mafia man we all come to love. He supports his wife no matter what and is always in her corner.

Good story rough narration

I really like the story and plot. But the male narrator’s accent is killing the vibe for me.

DNF’d it

It’s possible that the male narration irked my nerves so bad because I have spent countless hours listening to thousands of audiobooks. However, this man does not read. I don’t know what he’s trying to do but his fluency and inflection during every sentence is painful to listen to. I tried. I really tried but I felt like he was ripping this book apart. The plot was good. The female narrator was great. Regardless, the male narrator’s terrible reading overshadowed what was sure to be a good story line. I searched for more books by this author but she uses the same male narrator in all of them. It’s sad I can’t enjoy the listen.

A spicy, dark themed,Mafia romance, that is perfectly narrated!!

I cannot express enough how much I loved Angel and Nikolai's story but also Molly & Cole! They completely brought the world and characters to life! If you love extra spicy Mafia romances BUT also an amazing storyline, this is a must-read/listen!

Angel and Nikoli

Rose did an amazing job telling the love story of Angel and Nikoli. How they met was so cute. The fact that Angel's step mom forced her to marry to protect her father is crazy. I loved that Angel and Nikoli worked together to take down the human trafficking ring her step mother was running. I cried, I laughed. I really loved the bonus chapters.

story was good

the story was really good. the only problem is the narration. had to fast forward to get to a decent pace. I like that it had a long epilogue. it had a good plot but there was some unresolved parts. needed to know what happen to some of the bad guys that escaped. all in all it was good book. need better narrators though.

story? good, acting? okay. funny parts? hilarious.

the guy who read the lead - as stilted as his voice was there were sublime moments when he made me laugh outloud. he just took so long. either he is Russion and is learning english or he is english and thought that is how Russians talk in english.

This book was great

This was such a good book to listen to. I actually did a lot of the listening while I was at work and the banter and chemistry between the main characters was amazing. My coworkers kept looking at me because I kept giggling at some of the scenes. It made me so happy that the FMC was her own strong independent person that could interrogate her own enemies.
The only issue I really had with listening was Cole’s accent was a little weird sometimes and the fact that the words ‘member’ and ‘love button’ were used but that’s just my own personal issues and nothing really with narrations or plot.

Wow! The performance of the narrators fit perfectly with the book! It was so well done!
