One of my favorite books, read by the author

I love that they offer both a male and female narration. This is one of my absolute favorite children’s stories. It is so much fun. It contains a lot of nonsense words, so I liked the chance to listen to the Audible version to see how Novak pronounces everything. He does a great narration job. It is a simple read-along performance.

They are both great, its nice to have the different interpretations. just be aware.... you're going to have to listen to the book twice!

Kids love this book

Kids love this book so got it on audible. They like the book better than this audible. Was hoping they would like it more but they listened once and that was enough for them. They would rather get out the hardback and read it.

Funniest kids book ever!

If you can read with voices and emotion, if you can make letters on the page turn into silly sounds, if you love to make your kid squirm in anticipation and giggle, this is the book for you! The book MUST be read exactly as written. Those are the rules. Who needs pictures, when the person reading the book HAS to say they are a monkey and they MUST read with a monkey voice? Pictures are irrelevant when the person reading says "BA-DOOOOONGY FACE!" Go forth, and make your favorite child laugh out loud.
