Love this book and recording, my granddaughter loves it!!! She wants to read/listen to it all the time. She would love to go owning like the girl in the book!

This is the bedtime story I was looking for. So many of these books are accompanied by skipping flutes and snare drums. This is a story of a quiet night of owl watching. It is read softly, and the music is soothing. My eight year old son enjoyed it. I'm forty-six and rather enjoyed it myself.

Such a beautiful story. I almost felt like I was owling, as well! Highly recommended. Owl Moon is definitely a “touchstone” book to have in your library. Jane Yolen’s way of writing is a very powerful tool to use with students of all ages!
