'Amber's series breaks the rules in the best way. Her main character is strong, capable, and unapologetically powerful. There is no damsel here. This story is filled with fast-paced action, an in-depth world, and a romance that goes from simmer to boil. If you like romantasy, read this!' RAVEN KENNEDY

Don't miss this addictive BookTok sensation - a perfectly steamy, high-stakes, TRUE enemies-to-lovers, dark epic romantasy!

WHERE THERE ARE GODS, THERE ARE ALSO MONSTERS . . .

For a thousand years, the Etherworld has known peace.
Until now.

Many centuries ago, desperate to save her dying sister, Dianna made a deal with Kaden, a monster far worse than any nightmare. Locked in servitude to him, she is forced to hunt down an ancient relic held by her most dangerous enemies: an army led by Samkiel, the World Ender.

After the Gods War, Samkiel hid from everything, denying his crown and deserting his people. Now, an attack on those he loves sends him back to the realm he never wished to return to, and into the sights of an enemy he had hoped to forget.

With every world at stake, Dianna and Samkiel are forced to set aside their animosity and work together, before all is lost . . .

Don't miss the next books in the series, THE THRONE OF BROKEN GODS and THE DAWN OF THE CURSED QUEEN, and look out for Book 4 coming soon . . .

'A wicked ride from beginning to heart shattering end. Leaving me literally screaming for more. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get more our morally corrupt heroine who you can't help but root for, along with the giggle inducing banter between her and the heroic god Samkiel' HANNAH NICOLE MAERHER

'Once in a while I read a series that reminds me of just why I love enemies to lovers, slow burn, and morally grey characters so much. Gods and Monsters is that series. This is perfection. Amber Nicole's Dianna is the FMC of my soul' NISHA J. TULI

Another reviewer mentioned this is not for 30+ readers because the characters are immature. Honestly, I think this book could have used a seasoned editor. Obviously, it’s a story that maybe people really enjoyed, I wasn’t the audience.

I’m not sure the narrator read ahead in the story before she recorded. More than a few times the vocal characterization didn’t match her acting. So much so, it changed the atmosphere the author was trying to build for the audience. She also seemed to have a difficult time holding character. Sometimes male characters had lower voices and sometimes that would bleed into the female characters. For example, in the first chapter Liam meets Diana, they sound the same, and Diana didn’t sound like she did in her POV chapters.

Writing could have used a seasoned editor and another draft. The style is inconsistent. While the writing is immature, I think for some this adds to the story and might work, not me. If this had been advertised as young adult, which I am not, I would not have purchased it. (Yeah, adult woman reviewer here.) This is probably a great book/series if you are younger than 35-40. Otherwise, I would recommend finding something else.

I adored the character development, the slow burn romance, and the world building. I loved the flirty banter between the main characters and the friends to lovers trope.

A lovely romance between two Sourpatch-Kids.

it has a decent story but the narration and writing were too immature for me. maybe if I was 15 years old I'd love it but meh

it had potential.

It was a little slow at first, but I feel like it had great world building and character development. I love that not too much of the love story was revealed in the very first book I’m ready to read the next one and have already purchased and pre-ordered the next few books. To the author I Can’t wait to see what you do with the series! I will recommend these books to my book clubs.

A very good adaptation of God’s monsters

I absolutely love this story. But the narration is killing it for me. The narrator makes things so over the top that it comes across as silly. I’m really trying but I might just stick to reading this one.

Narration is ridiculously over dramatic
