A Modern Take on Such Classics as Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 - 100 Percent Not Woke

In a dystopian not so distant future, society had collapsed. A mysterious group known only as the Architects, however, were able to rescue civilization from the brink. In doing so, all works of art from the previous age were banned. Most are fine with this, but a few are not. When dissidents acquire an ancient Wonder Woman comic, they all begin to question the reasons for the purge, as well as the nature of reality itself. Is everything as it seems, or did the Architects have other motivations? Whatever the case, they are determined to undercover the truth, no matter what the cost....

Clever story. Great reading by Chuck Wagner

Honestly, I'm just on Audible to hear Chuck Wagner read (if it doesn't have monsters, magic, or horror). I like his character voices. I'd like to hear him narrate in his Automan voice, and I'd also like to hear him narrate with just his normal/everyday speaking voice (like in the End Credits), while reserving the dramatic tones just for the characters. His normal, calm speaking voice is very attractive.

The story reminds me of Anthem, North Korea, Truman Show, and Ready Player One all rolled into one. It was an entertaining, clever, and interesting story. I liked the characters. The author did a good job with the scene descriptions, as it was easy to visualize the scenes. And Chuck Wagner's reading made it easy to listen to.

Constructive criticism: I noticed there were a few moments of inconsistency with tenses, switching from past tense to present tense, when most should've been past tense. Also, a few lines expressing a character's thoughts from the third person point of view would've worked better if they were stated in the first person point of view.
