Publisher's summary

Charlie has been beaten and left for dead. She's got hardly any life left in her. But for some reason, she just can't seem to die.

A strange headache forces her to head north, towards the mysterious building known only as Facility 12 - where she quickly discovers that she is not alone. There is another Anomaly at the Facility, along with a suspiciously charismatic bot who says he'll do his best to "fix" whatever has gone wrong inside Charlie's head. But when the secrets of the Before mix with the dangers of the Nothing, it unlocks a power that could very well change the world.

Or it might just kill everybody.

Again, wow!

One of the main things I like about Ms. Ford's books are their originality. I am a huge Audible listener and so much of the time books have been sanitized down to the point where you hear the same "voice" throughout every read. The Anomaly Cycle is something different. You feel every burn, sting, scrape, and misfortune that befalls Charlie. But you also feel real connection to the people Charlie cares for, be they human or robot. Ms Galvin does a fantastic job bringing Charlie to life once again!

Not getting a third book?

Doesnt sound like an end is coming anytime soon for this series so it's hard to say dive in. It's a good book, with great characters, but with no conclusion and a number of unanswered questions I can't imagine anyone coming out the otherside satisfied knowing there likely wont be an end.

To find the beauty on the other side..

Anyone who has ever felt different should read this book.
Anyone who has been pushed aside, written off, or discarded, should read this book.
This book is for those of us that "Normal" is not part of who we are.
Charlie the Anomaly is our book; This is our story.
The words may be different for each of us, but in our hearts, they feel the same.
