When it comes to problem drinking each of us needs their own recipe for success. This book was a key ingredient for me. I listened everyday and worked the solutions when time allowed. Or should I say, I let the solutions work me?! This book helped me understand the WHY of my drinking and give me the positive HOW of living sober. The companion website is loaded with helpful videos, tips, links and a forum. There were a few things that wasn't a fit for me but I gained so much more.

As part of my recipe I also listened to Kevin O"Hara's Alcohol Mastery podcasts daily. Firstly, I'm not affiliated or being paid by either of these. They were both part of my personal recipe along with exercise, diet, sleep learning/meditation and over the counter supplements. Yes that's a lot of ingredients but they each played an important role in helping me to clear my body and mind from the effects of the poison. Becoming a problem drinker wasn't the result of just one day or one thing for me. It took a lot of days and decisions to get there so I took a few to get back.

If you've tried everything with no success please don't give up. Your recipe is out there or it may even be right here in this book.

I have tried to quit or cut back several times in my lifetime. I have bought supplements that were supposed to reduce cravings. This book as well as the companion website fixed me. Keep in mind you can NOT just read or listen to the audio book. You have to take full advantage of the material, videos, and exercises on the website. I have 3 full journals from the exercises after each day. Putting it all down on paper really helps. Thank you Jack and Dave!

None. This book is unlike other addiction treatments I have come across.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators are very passionate about the subject. They excited about the material and you can hear it in their voices.

What did you learn from The 30-Day Sobriety Solution that you would use in your daily life?

I learned how not to go out drinking every weekend!

This book has changed my life for the better. I was never a daily drinking, but I definitely used to overdo it and was damaging my relationships, my career and my finances. The 30 Days Sobriety Solution is a very practical guide to getting and staying sober. You can work the program from the privacy of your own home. The book equips you with the tools you need to quit drinking and live a happy, productive life.

I bought this book on a whim and read it partially once and then a second time, bookmarked like crazy and now have finished it. I'm so happy I did! I'll listen to it a third time, I know. I've also been recommending it to friends, even friends who don't drink much because finding the right solution is helpful and life changing. It's like a little gift each day for 30 days. This book changed the way I think. I will only keep growing with this foundation. if you're even thinking about it, get it.

I am a problem drinker. My drinking led me to getting a second DUI so I had to serve a month and a half in jail :( I’ve done AA and rehab in the past. Being sober worked for a little while but then I would relapse. So I had negative thoughts about sobriety. I really did not want to read this book just reading the title made me cringe. Since I was going to jail cuz of drinking I sucked it up and had someone send me this book while I was in jail so I can work on myself while I was in there. Out of all the sobriety books out there I chose this one because of Jack Canfield. I trusted him to teach me something valuable about being sober. I am so happy I gave this book a shot. There’s so much juicy knowledge and wisdom. I now no longer think of myself as an excessive drinker because I no longer have cravings or a desire to drink. I think this book helped me to have a new positive perspective on drinking and sobriety. I feel so grateful I got the chance to fully immerse myself in the 30day sobriety solution. So GOOD!!!

Where does The 30-Day Sobriety Solution rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'd rank this book high on my list in the self-help category.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the chapter by chapter approach (as opposed to reading a whole book before being able to implement the program). As the title suggests, each chapter = one day and each day offers one solution to work on. I particularly appreciate that this book is very action oriented and each action is specifically outlined. Each "solution" builds on the previous solution and offers the tools needed to get through the 30 days and beyond.

No.

What did you learn from The 30-Day Sobriety Solution that you would use in your daily life?

I learned to stop looking at the absence of alcohol as a loss and see what I gain by not having it in my life.

Any additional comments?

My only frustration in using this book is that the companion website does not deliver all that it suppose to offer. Often links lead to the wrong video or a resource mentioned is not there. I do wish that would be remedied. On the other hand, for the cost (I used 1 audible credit and purchased the book for $10.00) and time investment, I am not sure there is a more user friendly economical way to conquer the battle to drink/not drink.

If you think (or you know) you are drinking too much or too often, consider this book. It is a whole program designed to help you determine what to do about it. You can do the work in private. They do not assume you can never drink again. It gave me priceless insights and valuable tools to address my situation.
