Publisher's summary

My new boss is a CEO Billionaire who hired me to be a nanny for his son.

This should have been easy for me considering my experience with children. Except the man I'm working for is Thomas Ford. A man I never thought I would see again, especially not five years later.

Now, I live in his penthouse in the city.

I refuse to cross the line because one, he's my boss and two, I don't do relationships anymore.

It's hard to deny this man when his touch lights my body on fire. I told myself I wouldn't risk losing my job by giving into temptation but all it takes is one night in his kitchen and I am done for.

But who am I kidding? I was a goner that first night.

Contains mature themes.

Amazing!

Who doesn’t love a single dad romance?!? Those are my favorite!
Pey is really likable and relatable! Thomas is very work driven and a wonderful father! Pey and Thomas were electric together and I was at the edge of my seat like will they or won’t they?!? Hurry up haha I like that Pey took control in the relationship and that gave her a boost of confidence! Pey’s interactions with JJ were super cute! Both narrators did a fantastic job telling the story! I love how they were able to swiftly change their voice to match with the other characters

3.5⭐️ story — 4⭐️ narration

Audiobook review
Narrated By Alex Kydd and Laurie West
Listened on audible.
(Is also on hoopla)

Peyton and Thomas.
Love at first sight.
Unfortunately something major happens and this insta attraction is blown away.
5 years later, Peyton walks back into Thomas life again and he just so happens to have a little boy who needs a nanny.
Thomas’s little boy is a light in this story.
He’s sweet, lovable, cherished and emotional with his little heart. Peyton couldn’t have been a better person to show up in this little one’s life. And for Thomas, he may have needed that extra love too.

Let me say too, even if I rated it 3.5 it’s not bad, I did enjoy this story it was just a little long and parts seemed to drag. The beginning of this story got me hooked and I was feeling the angst of it all. I loved the idea of them not seeing each other again and fate bringing them back to each other. I think it was the middle part that dragged for me. Because then the ending got me hooked again with the little drama thrown in there. (Still no 3rd act break up which I love) also…. It was spicy! Alex Kydd knows how to narrate that spice too!
I’m excited to see where this series go, and I may re-listen when the rest comes on audio to keep connected to this family.

The narration was wonderful, I always enjoy these two narrators and thought they brought out the love, the loss, the joy and heartbreak, the moments of breaking walls to tell true feelings and every emotion was narrated to really give you that extra connection to these characters.
