Becoming Who You're Meant to Be
What did you like best about The Journey to Find Me? What did you like least?
What I enjoyed about this book was the honesty. Mr. Horshaw told his journey, while also in the last five chapters of the book provided guidance and helpful advice in order for others to "tap into their greatness". He explained how difficult his growth into becoming a man was, but an important point he brought up was surrounding yourself with positive people, outlooks, and energy in order to grow and believe in yourself.While this book touched on many points, I would have liked to hear more tips and information about how to work with yourself as you go through the journey to find you. I wanted him to dig deeper with his message as much as he delved into his past.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It was very informative learning about the author as well as the people and movies that inspired him. I enjoyed the quotes he wove in throughout the audio, such as Les Brown, The Pursuit of Happyness, and Spider-Man 3, which made things relatable in order to understand what drove him to find himself.
Have you listened to any of Sean D. Horshaw’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have talked to Mr. Horshaw and he is a positive person, always encouraging you to be confident. Therefore, I think this reflected who he is exactly. I just wanted even more advice or his silly comparisons that tend to stick with me.
Did The Journey to Find Me inspire you to do anything?
The Journey to Find Me inspired me to continue to go in a positive direction. It reminded me it's okay to struggle and not know things, but to keep going and trying anyway.
