Brother witches Josh and Chris have sacrificed a great deal for their magical responsibilities. Their aunt, Kathy, is the only family they have left, and together they must face their enemies to keep them from targeting any more victims. But when Kathy is put in the hospital after an attack, the boys are a witch short.
With the brothers at their weakest, they uncover a growing new power trying to organize the demonic hierarchy. Josh and Chris are left alone to battle an evil stronger than anything they've ever faced...an evil so strong it might cost them their lives.
If you could sum up The Blood Moon in three words, what would they be?
This is the third book in the Under the Moon series. The story starts with a vindictive dark witch who was willing to killed a white witch for interfering in her business. In turn, the dark witch has decided to use the white witch's descendant,

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **
The boys and Aunt Kathy go to battle with a few new friends, and kick some major butt! If you liked Charmed, you will enjoy this series, I really liked this book a lot, since I had already gotten to know these characters in book 1...They had to really battle some big baddies here, and almost died several times...Will, Kathy's ex husband comes into some very dangerous powers, and Toxanna...is as evil as ever! Loved it! Good narration and great story, I recommend!!!

If you like witches, demons and spells, you'll enjoy this fast paced tale. The adventures of these teen age witches kept my interest all the way through.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review
The third in the series and not my favorite. The boys see a lot of changes to their world.Their aunt Kathy is hurt, disspaears,re appears, etc.A new witch(to them) joins the fray. The narration was enough to drive you crazy.Nathan Wheland brings out the crankiness of the characters...and the reader.I was given this book free by the author, narrator or publisher.
Author David Neth returns to form in the third novel of his Under the Moon witching series, delivering perhaps the best of the three.
With the ever-reliable Nathan Weiland narrating again, the adventure kicks off with a good recap of the story so far before launching immediately into the action.
The Blood Moon follows Chris and Josh Harper, two witching brothers and nephews to Kathy, presumably one of the sisters from the original novel.
The ill-conceived villain, Toxanna, takes a back seat for The Blood Moon, although her presence is often felt, which is the best way to present such a caricature. When she does appear, it’s usually brief and bearable with her scenes often shared by her toxic crew: Will, Devon and Axon.
The story focusses on a set group of characters again, which also includes inexperienced witch Holly and her overly-protective father, Simon. It works well, allowing us to emotionally invest in the plight of each one, whether it be in their fight against evil or their more personal fight for independence and romance.
Weiland’s narration works best in this audiobook because the central characters are primarily male. Through no fault of his own, the predominantly female cast of characters in the previous books would have been more suited to a female reader instead of a falsetto-voiced male narrator. His diction is clear and it is quickly obvious which character is speaking, although Neth’s text doesn’t provide any level emotional depth.
You can read my full review on glamadelaide dot com dot au under the Entertainment section however, as the final volume in the Under the Moon trilogy, The Blood Moon ties things up nicely while remaining a stand-alone story that can be listened to without the previous tomes.
I love how this book brings everything together from book's one and two. I'm still sad that Sam died and I even believe it brings more emotion into this series. Nathan Weiland of course did a wonderful job. I'm still a bit confused why Kathy never went back in time and saved Sam though. Some things may never be answered, but I do really hope that there are going to be more books in this series and more adventures to follow.
It's a great story and the Author is an amazing story teller.
(He was kind enough to gift me this audio book)
We continue the journey set in a magical universe.
(Taking notes, I'm learning some skills)
The characters are well developed, we can connect to them instantly.
Everyone has a task and their bond grows stronger in every chapter.
Be prepared to take some deep breaths.
Will is my favourite character... Today :)
I don't want to write any spoilers,
but it's a bit hard not to.
I can see this story like a movie, as my imagination grows with the characters.
Very well written, paced. I enjoy it.
The narration is awesome, helped me to look into the book with more detail.
I recommend this series to anyone.
Where's the next book, David?
If you are reading this then it means you have made it through David's previous books without throwing your Kindle at him yet. Well, this one will make you even more aggravated. Lol. I almost cried while driving and listening to this. Don't get me wrong, it's a great story. I asked myself why I continue on when there's always some heartache in his books. But there's also good. And as I read something not to long ago, any book that causes so much emotion, whether good or bad, just means that the author is a great story teller. I guess having bad stuff happen in a book makes it seem more real also. The characters are very well developed as you know from previous books. The bond between them only grows stronger. and who could forget Will? As you know from experience, his actions never cease to amaze. It's so hard to write this without giving spoilers. The narration was excellent as always. I would recommend this series to anyone. The next book just came out and I can't wait to start it.
Very good but not my kind of book. I'm not into magic and demons but the narrator did a great job
I really enjoyed this book and the way it tied the first two books together. can't wait for the next one in the series to see what happens next.
