Publisher's Summary

Emma and Galen's kingdom - and their love - is threatened by long-lost Syrena in the brilliant conclusion to Anna Banks' best-selling trilogy.

Emma, half human and half Syrena, and her Syrena love, Galen, need time together - alone. Away from the kingdoms of Poseidon and Triton. Emma's grandfather, the Poseidon king, suggests the two visit a small town called Neptune.

Neptune is home to both Syrena and Half-Breeds alike. But Emma and Galen didn't sign up to be peacemakers between the ocean and the land-dwelling, freshwater Syrena. They didn't bargain for meeting a charming Half-Breed named Reed, who can barely disguise his feelings for Emma. And they especially didn't expect to find themselves in the middle of a power struggle that threatens not only their love but their ocean kingdoms.

In this stunning conclusion to her best-selling Syrena Legacy, Anna Banks thrills fans with more action and romance than ever.

That took FOR-EV-ER!!!

Too much world building, not enough story. Emma turned in to an absolute IDIOT and the story took forever to develop. Most of the book was spent "setting the scene" rather than telling a story. The vocals were great considering the lack of content. I would not recommend this book to anybody... except maybe my nemesis... I would totally recommend it to him!

Captivating to the very end!

After the second book you could see how things could be wrapped up...But with this third book, the adventures started all over and this time they were bigger and bolder than before! I loved all the twists and turns. I especially appreciated how the ending was NOT just bluntly severed leaving you feeling unsatisfied. Instead, it was a nice, well explained ending that was beautiful and a very satisfying "close" to the plot.

Unexpected route

This book seems to be unnecessary. All of sudden the "gift" hasn't just come when needed but is running freely in Neptune. Our hero is missing and no one seems to really look for him for days. Grandpa sends the two into a possibly hostile situation with no warning. Our heroine automatically trusts everyone she meets because they are like them. The story is a little forced. I did not really care for the heroine, but this story made me completely dislike her. I liked the first 2 stories, but just not into this one.

Unplanned third edition

Any additional comments?

This book is entertaining enough if you are looking for a quick, easy read, but if you are a reader who pays attention to the details of the story, then you'll realize that this book is full of flaws, that contradict the first two books, which can detract from the story.

A very entertaining and romantic trilogy

If you like YA books, this one is definitely for you. It has romance, suspense and Sirenas!

The reader is very good and makes the study that much better.

Potential for a sequel

*spoilers* I'm guessing the series is over, but why didn't we get to experience gailins way of life in the syrena world with Emma more? They just skipped ahead 1 year and it all left out. Also no tribute to Rachel at the wedding?
