Superfluously

never makes you want to read it over and over again so you don't miss anything as for the narrator's they definitely make you feel like they're different people and they draw you in and you get to know the characters and that makes it a wonderful story Haslet true storytelling is all about is understanding the characters thank you this is from April and Dakota Alberts me and my son can't stop reading your books

One of my least favorite of the series

I really struggled to finish this book but I told myself to keep going because it was end of the series and I've come this far I couldn't stop. First off changing the narrator's this often not only breaks the flow of the book but it is really frustrating. Especially because the accent changed from the boy to the girl which is stupid. But I love Jason Dohring from Veronica Mars and so I was super excited that he was going to be a part of the narration. I loved the 3rd book it was really exciting and interesting so much was going on but the 5th and this book I just did not like. It was a lot more gruesome and graphic and at times disgusting and I just did not enjoy it. and it takes part mainly in the Demon World which got really dark in sacrilegious. And I feel like the story just kind of dragged on and I just wanted it to be over with. And then they added this whole new group of new characters which was not really necessary especially because you already have a large amount of characters in your book. and I feel like I didn't really get a chance to know them very well because they were only in the last book unless I forgot about them previously but they were a big part of the book and I didn't really care about them because I didn't really understand who they were as well as the characters who have been in the entire series already. I hate to write a bad review but I just didn't like it and I have to be honest but it is exciting to see how it all ties in and how everyone ends up.

I love the story, the narration, and the series!

Sophie Turner has such an amazing voice. She really brought the book to life.
This is one of my favorite in the Series.
Sad to see Jace an Clark's story come to an end. But look forward to the new series.

Male voice Actor is terrible!

Sophia Turner blew me away as a voice actress, however her male counterpart was unbelievably drab. I would have preferred the story be read solely from her.

Not a fan of Sophie's accent for the reading.

I really could have done without the accent. It's not a bad accent but I don't want to have to work to understand the story.

Great Book but Bad Narration

What did you like best about this story?

I love the ending and how she threw a twist in there rather than following what you would expect to happen.

What didn’t you like about Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s performance?

I did not like their performance. Sophie Turner was not a bad narrator but she was not as good as Mae Whitman or Natalie Moore. It was really frustrating and disappointing that they kept switching narrators throughout the different books. I did not like Jason Dohring at all and actually, don't understand why they added in a male voice when the first three books were read by only a female narrator.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Simon sacrificed himself to save Magnus Bane.

Narration is hard to overlook

I love the series but the naration has often been an issue I wish the publisher would read these reviews. The reader of book 1 was atrocious. She was shrill and horrid pronunciation. I really prefer one reader and not the switching back and forth. Molly C. Quinn did well and book 5 she did alone was my favorite. Book 6 the female was mostly good but the male reader was very monitone. In the beginning I couldn't even follow the story because it was so boring and dull trying to listen to him.

overall great series. But if I were not visually impaired I'd definitely go for old fashioned paper book.
