Publisher's Summary

When Alcatraz and Grandpa Smedry make a pilgrimage to the Free Kingdom city of Crystallia, the Smedry home base, Alcatraz is shocked to see that he is, in fact, a legend. When he was a baby he was stolen by the Evil Librarians, and his mother, a Librarian herself, was behind the whole scheme. Now, with his estranged father, who is acting indeed strange, Bastille, who has been stripped of her armor, and Grandpa Smedry, who is, as always, late to everything (that's his Talent), Alcatraz tries to save a city under siege. From whom? Why, the Librarians of course!

As Funny As Before!!!!

I do like that there isn't much repeat of environment in this series, this one was finally based in the one of the 3 kingdoms and the way of life there is very interesting.

Brandon Sanderson shows how funny he can get in this series, and I do love those breaks between each chapter, they are really funny. and its ending is always funny.

You get to see how special and strong Alcatraz is in this book. and also what authority he has in these kingdoms.

Really enjoyed and laughed a lot.. beware food and drinks while listening to it.

Totally inane!

I have no idea why I stuck this out to the end. I have been a fan of Sanderson, but this book was hardly bareable. What was it about and how could I have spent time and money on it? Oh, the deep questions of life. I will probably try another by him since I have already gotten it, but I hope it doesn't disappoint as this series has. I have one question for Mr. Sanderson: "What were you on when you wrote this?"

Silly goodness

It's actually more entertaining than you might think to hear about writing style and author techniques in the middle of the story. Whatever you do, don't start this book at the last chapter, you'll regret it if you do.

Looooved it!!!!!

I recommend this to anyone who likes a good adventure but make sure to read the first 2 books before (or he will make fun of you and no last paging).

The books are getting shorter and costing more.

I like these books, but they are way overpriced. The books are down to five hours now and cost way too much. The author jokes in his book about tricking you into buying more of his books, but the joke had far too much truth to it.
