Excellent set of tips for resistance training

There is no better exercise than strength training. Sprinting has some cardiovascular benefits (jogging is actively harmful), but strength training incorporates the best in overall health, caloric usage, and muscle/bone density. There are few better predictors of long-term health than muscle mass.

That's why I'm so glad to see efforts to reach out to women for strength training, who have been historically ignored by this far superior segment of fitness training. This book offers a great toolset for women to start sculpting their bodies through resistance training, including beginner to advanced tiers of training programs and the results you can expect to see from each.

The narrator is well spoken and easy to follow, and makes it easy to follow the guidance in the book. Definitely recommended.

A Practical Guide

Thomas Rohmer really gets down to the nitty-gritty of strength training. He provides straightforward, easy to follow tips, as well as full beginner and intermediate workouts. There's one caveat, though: for those of you who live outside the US, the use of the archaic imperial system is a real drag!

Good & informative

Good information only down side was the voice of the narrator I found it very very annoying which made it hard to enjoy the book fully. However the content has made it very easy & clear for a beginner. Looking forward to putting it all into practice.
