Publisher's Summary

My name is Stone Ridge and I'm a f--king go getter...I set my sights on what I want and go after it. Not giving up easily is what I'm known for.

Well...that and shaking my dick for money. I take pride in knowing I'm damn good at both.

Screaming girls everywhere, willing to drop their panties for me and toss their money my way, yet there's only one girl that I can't get out of my f--king head. Especially since she's my damn roommate.

Sage Knox....

Things were hot between us, both of us looking for the best f--ks of our lives; a way to have fun and get off without becoming attached.

Until I decided that being attached to her is what I want.

She pushed away, afraid of being hurt like she has been since the day her parents abandoned her and her brother Hemy. Every single person in her life has crushed her.

I understand her worries and I'm willing to do anything now to take them all away.

I'm making her mine one way or another...beginning with my damn body.

Narration

This is a good story. However, Samantha Cook wasn’t the right person for this job. She has no emotion in her voice and she speaks really slow. It sounds like she’s reading off cue card. Sorry 😞

It was a good story

I done whispersync with this book. Now let me just say while listening to this book I had no issue with the male narrator but I did have an issue connecting with the female narrator for some reason.

I think in this story we really got to know Stone. His was much more of a deeper person then I had thought. He would do anything to make Sage happy and it was truly killing him that she was pushing him away.

Sage was one that could handle herself if needed but she had a lot of insecurities. She had abandonment issues. I believed she loved Stone a whole lot longer then she really knew but was just to scared to face it.

The one thing I love about Stone is how he was willing to put it on the line. he wanted Sage to know she had his heart and she was more important to him then anything else including Walk of Shame.

In this story we do get to see all the old characters along with the new and it is great to see where they are in their life.

It was a good story and glad I got a chance to read.

My Two Pennies

3.7 dancing stars for me. Stone and Sage’ story is one that you can see happening to an extent in reality and I like that about this book. We’re given a roommates to more romance that’s not just about Stone but all of those sexy men of WOS. More often then not we’re at the club where these men dance, I wish there was a bit more of a deeper storyline but it’s an enjoyable read. This is the first in this series I’m reading and I am definitely jumping into more to hear the other stories.

What's not to Love about a Hot Male Stripper?

I loved the first three books in the series and number four did not disappoint. In addition, the male narrator is fantastic.

Same plot getting old

Every story is the same plot. Either the H/h is afraid of commitment because they have been hurt in the past and don’t want to be hurt again. They also have abandonment issues because their abusive parent/parents left them when they were a kid. Come on, where is the creativity?

Sadly disappointed

I really enjoyed the first books in the Walk of Shame series. The characters, story lines and the narrators, were all great. Unfortunately, this Second generation series is not off to a good start. I normally don't like giving a bad review, but for me the narrators sounded bored. The different voices/characters were mediocre.
