Publisher's summary

I loved to hate her...

She made it so easy. She was everything I wasn’t - everything I didn’t want to be.

A reminder that from the moment I was born, I was the outcast. The rebel.

I went against everything that was expected of me and created a life on my terms. I built my own empire, carved out my own destiny.

Then she shows up at my tattoo studio, representing everything I tried to escape. She expects to just fit in...like she ever could.

Tabitha Anderson.

The posh girl trying to prove everyone wrong...that she can be something else - someone else. She hates me because she knows I’m right.

Or so I think. Turns out this isn’t the first time we’ve met, and our hate has history. We have history.

I might not have remembered, but I damn sure won’t forget now. Won't forget how her smile is always directed at everyone but me.

If everything changes and she proves she does fit in, will it still be hate I’m feeling or something else entirely?

And if I’m wrong, then she’s right where she belongs...with me.

I Think I’m Falling Out of Hate With You.

Title: Hate You
Author: Tracy Lorraine
Format: Audio
Narrators:
Genre: Romance, enemies to lovers, tattoo artist, best friends bothers, secret relationship
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Book 1 of Rebel Ink
POV: Tabitha and Zach
Steam Level: Hot
5/5

Hate You is another winner from Tracy Lorraine who is a master at the enemies-to-lovers trope. But Hate You wasn't just another enemies t0 lovers. The elements woven together include many secrets. The secret that Tabitha and Zach went to school together, the secret that she's his litter sister's best friend, the fact that he isn't just a playboy who is floating through life along with other secrets that soon reveal themselves.

I loved that push and pull between Tabitha and Zach. The push and pull between what their bodies want and what their minds are telling them. The push and pull between what they want and what their families expect. I loved how Zach doesn't want Tabitha but also doesn't want anyone else to have her. The line between love and hate thins and weaves them together in knots.

Hate You is the first book in the Rebel Ink series and I look forward to seeing what else is to come, especially the story behind what happened in the epilogue.

Bad boys can be so good

Man, Zach was a complete bastard. He really treats Tabitha like total crap because he believes she represents everything he hates about his own life. He keeps his success a secret and doesn't let anyone into his life. Tabitha is sick of doing the same old thing and decides to shake things up by taking a chance at a job in a tattoo studio. Tabitha and Zach are explosive when they get together which is both good and bad. I listened to the audio book of this one and the two narrators just made this book even better!

Love it!

Loved it when I read it, love it even more when listening to these narrators bring these characters to life. Love listening to the banter between Zach and Tabitha.
4.5*

An entertaining and super hot story. I first got a glimpse of Zach in His Manhattan and he is was portrayed as the brother who is squandering his trust fund drinking and banging chicks. In here we see that it is just a facade he puts on for his family. Zach is a successful tattoo artist and owns a bunch of parlors. Tabitha is a woman who is trying to find herself even though her parents are forcing her to go into the family business or marry someone who will take care of her. Tabitha ends up getting a job at Zach's tattoo parlor and the tension starts. He doesn't want her there because she belongs from his family's world that he is trying to get away. Little does he know how close they are since they went to school together and he doesn't recognize her and she is best friend's with his sister. They both hate each other but you could feel the sexual tension between them. Love the banter between these two and when they get together OMG so hot. This was an enjoyable story as I read these two try to deny their feelings. Then things get a bit intense when secrets are revealed. I wouldn't mind being on the receiving end of Zach's punishments. I can't wait to read Titch and Danni's story.

Stellar listen!

Shane East and Kylie Stewart really made this book a stellar listen. This is the first time I have listened to this author, but definitely will not be the last. The story line was interesting, characters developed and the story held my attention. It was a great way to lose myself over the weekend. I totally am glad I purchased it (I was out of credits) and do not regret a penny!

Good Love/Hate relationship story. I don't think I've read any of Tracy Lorraine's other books but I will definitely finish this series and try some of her other books.

Awesome Love story!

Storyline was great. I would have loved to have a little more twist and turns but for the one we had it does lead to the other books in the series.
Love loved loved the duet narraters. It brings the story to life when a male reads the male parts and the female reads the female parts.

(spoiler alert)
I didn't appreciate how the flc was insensitive to the mlc losing a best friend. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if a male that is obviously straight wearing another male dogtags that something happened to the guy.
I'm a veteran and just seeing the book cover knowing the mlc didn't serve I made 4 by adding 2+2.

🎧 AUDIO REVIEW 🎧

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book was the first ever book I read by this author. I had to go back and listen when I realised they where on audio.

I loved there hate love relationship and the secrets that came to light. I loved the lads at the shop and I loved how Biff became herself and not for her parents. I loved the ending and I can’t wait for the next story to see what they hiding. The only thing I wanted to see is when he met her family and what happened and how she reacted. You hear about how they are but never got to see it or he had to defend her against them etc.

Steamy enemies to lovers

I loved this story. It was so steamy, and the tension between Tabatha and Zach is palpable. Awesome character and plot.

I loved the narrators and the dual narration.

Good enemies to lovers romance

First of all, Shane East and Kylie Stewart, the narrators for the audiobook are excellent. This is a duet recording and it was perfectly done. They brought emotion (there was a lot of it) to this book. And their accents...sigh. I could have listened to them narrate a phone book and I think I would have been ok.

That said, this book was good. This is an enemies to lovers romance, heavy heavy on the enemies. I have to admit that I love a good enemies to lovers romance where the book starts with anger with underlying passion. But the anger in this book kind of droned on. Even more than half way through the book, Zach was kind of a cad with other women. Tabitha was a bit too accepting of his poor behavior. That said, once they overcame their anger towards each other, I enjoyed watching their interaction. The narration elevated the story but even with that, I do think the enemies aspect dragged along a bit long. I give this book 3.5 to 4 stars.

A MUST LISTEN 5 HOT STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐

A DEFINATE MUST LISTEN 5 HOT STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐

Hate You
Book 1 from the Rebel Ink Book series
by the Fabulous Tracy Loraine
Narrated by the Amazing Shane East and Kylie Stewart.

I seem to always end up having an all nighter when I start any Trace Loraine book!!

I Love all these tattooed bad boys and Zach’s is simply adorable under all that angst which contributes to him and Kassie finally opening up to each other and as each day goes by he is losing his heart to Biff and falling hard over heels in love with her…

Zach is a brooding, hot headed protector who’s always distanced himself from his family, having never felt quite like he fitted in with their rich lifestyle, where never wanted for anything and only ever wanted to stand on his own two feet and being be a part of family business was never in the plan much to their frustration. Zach’s passion in life is worlds away from the one he’s expected to follow, however being the determined character he is Zach has followed his passion by setting up tattoo studios in London and the US with his best mates allowing him to remove himself away from the family he thinks he doesn’t deserve.

Biff also comes from the same life as Zach with family expectations being forced upon her that she’s isn’t interested in. After a heart to heart with her dying grandmother Biff makes promise that she will finally do what she wants to do, and not other to dictate and that she must find happiness. After a night out with her friends on her way back to her flat she notices a sign asking for help in the tattoo shop. They take her on instantly, so when Biff turns up for her first her day so does Zach back from America and much to Biff's surprise, the owner is who she went to high school with, and her best friend's brother. Biff remembers Zach as being someone who never gave her a second glance at school and nothing has changed from those day as he has no idea who she is. He automictically want her gone as all he sees is a pretty little rich girl which is everything he despises and so no sooner has she arrived that she leaves.
Returning the next day looking very different to the previous day and from that moment she’s an absolute match for Zach she takes no crap from him and this just drive Zach crazy in more ways than one. The banter between these two is first class funny as Biff matches him so perfectly. They have much more in common than Zach realise but with so many secrets it’s bound to blow up spectacular style! Leaving mouths wide open for many characters but you know that things will work out for the best after they’ve knocked down a few of those walls that stand in their way and the fact that Tracy always gives you a taste of thing to come leaving you wanting the story to carry there and then!

Fantastic Story & listen🎧 An Angsty & Intense Ride

Wow, no hate from this audiobook listener, I loved everything about this book, from Tracy Lorraine’s brilliant dialogue and writing style to the story and characters she created to the perfectly casted narrators who bring the story and characters to life from the pages to your ears. Tabitha “Biff” Anderson born into wealth is expected to live her life a certain way, the only person in her family who listened to her was her Gran and on her dead bed her Gran told her she needed to follow her heart, to just breathe and Spread your wings and fly”. Tabitha first leap is applying for and getting an admin job in a tattoo shop. She gets along with the guys at the studio and is loving her new job until he comes in, Zach Abbot, her best friend brother and arrogant arse she went to school with. He does not remember who she is and takes and immediate disliking to her. Zach knows her kind, rich and privileged, trying to get away from that life she is everything he wants nothing to do with. OMG, the tension between these two is thru he roof, she hates how he treats her and he hates everything about her and wants to ruin her. But he has met his match and she will not let him break her. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the book is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Tracy Lorraine, thank you for the awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Shane East and Kylie Stewart are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an awesome job portraying the characters, grasping each persona, taking the role and making it their own. Kylie Stewart played Biff’s role with perfection and Shane East did the same for Zach. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the character’s emotions as well as their passion which could be heard in their performance. . They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Hate to Love

This story is quite steamy and entertaining, but I felt like the h changed so much through the course of the book. She went from fierce bada*s to meak doormat. I didn't quite see the enemy to lovers trope, it's more hate to love. Overall I liked the story and the premise, I just think it's not very well executed. Kylie Stewart is a new to me narrator and I like her work. Shane East is amazing as always, no complains here! #AudiobookReviewObsession

A Tension Filled Enemies to Lovers

This story was so steamy! A completely engrossing enemies to lovers set in a tattoo shop in London. Biff was always the posh girl but is starting to find her own and rebel. Zach is the rebel, a tattooed bad boy that is a reader's catnip. These two have instant chemistry and instant loathing. This audiobook is performed in duet by Shane East and Kylie Stewart. Shane East brought it to this performance, lots of emotion, and gravel he didn't hold back during the intimate scenes (and there were several). Kylie Stewart brought Biff to life and I thoroughly enjoyed her performance.

This book has everything I enjoy in an audiobook and I loved every second.

Good but fell a little short

This book was good, but it wasn't great. I am not usually a tough critic considering I live and breathe books but this one had to get a star knocked off. It was a little far fetched on some parts.

Tabitha Anderson is out one night and walks past the sign stating they are hiring so she decides to go in and apply. Little does she know who owns the shop and the encounter she is about to face.

Zach Abbott comes from the wealthy life of fancy cocktail parties and all that good stuff, it doesn't suit him so he went on his own. Nobody in his family knows about his business, he is living in two separate worlds.

Again this book was good, but it seemed like the author was trying too hard to make the chemistry work. I didn't care for it. The characters weren't really enemies to lovers and the fact that they went to school together and she was his sister's best friend and he had no idea who she was is far fetched. Sure she wasn't a popular girl and he may have been in his own world during high school but come on, he never remembers her, not even a little bit?

The sex scenes were graphic and intense so to say, but they seemed forced. They didn't seem passionate and heated they were just rough and done. It was odd for me. I didn't care for it. He was rude and unforgiving and she was a coward of epic proportions. Some of the ways she just went with whatever he said annoyed me, like the tattoo scene... wtf was that? I mean no... just no.

This book wasn't my cup of tea but it could be yours.. not all books are meant for everyone and that's what makes them so great, it's part of the appeal.

The narrators however did a great job. I loved their accents and could listen to their voices all day! It is fascinating to me to hear the way different people pronounce different words.

male narrative was excellent.
