Just keep using the same voice actors from the Anime. Smart idea! They're great. I'm hoping to finally make it to the end.

Heart Pounding Mercantile Fun

This is probably one of my favorite storylines from Spice and Wolf. I highly recommend this series.

J. Michael Tatum gives another magnificent display. Spice and Wolf is driven by the spoken narrative of the merchant and they hit the mark.

One of my favorite stories growing up, and yet even now holo and her love of apples is still a better love story then twilight!

It's Like Meeting an Old Friend Again

The story is excellent, and the performance by J. Michael Tatum is amazing! Though I hope at some point they are able to bring on Brina Palencia as Holo again. I would definitely pay more for that.

Regardless, listening to this has made me feel like a young teenager again. Looking forward to the next one!

Wonderfully character rich.

I was originally introduced to Spice and Wolf through the anime. Recently, I just bought the first six novels so I have dead tree versions. But I also knew I had to have these audio books too, which are much richer than the anime were.
The characters are so very deep and well written that even in the middle, despite knowing the end, I couldn't help but feel the desperation and hopelessness as Kraft wandered the streets knowing that all was lost.
Every voice was distinct and the narration was never an intrusion. Such a joy to listen to. Worth every point on the five stars.
Now, on to the next volume.
