Worth the listen
Not Nora’s best work but the story holds true to form. Narration difficult to listen when using male character voices. Seems there is not enough range available to her natural voice to make the jump.

Simple Nora Roberts Novel
Any additional comments?
The story itself wasn't bad. I was able to figure out the ending nearly halfway through the book. My only complaint would be how fast everything happened with Laurel and Matthew. One minute they dislike each other. The next, he kisses her. Then they have 4 drinks and kiss. The next day, she loses her virginity. The next day, their engaged. I understand that during the year prior, Matthew had feelings for her and showed it by constantly picking on her and annoying her, but still, the way their relationship evolved was way too fast.

Definitely not one of Nora Roberts' better reads. Story is rather dull and difficult to get interested in. It had the potential to be a good book, but just didn't make it.

Horrible narrator

boring lost interest
sorry I love Nora Roberts but this story was so boring and I kept loosing interest. The readers voice was so monotone nothing to keep my interest. wish I could get a refund..
