Loved It

What made the experience of listening to Birthright the most enjoyable?

I was totally wrapped up in this book. The story grabbed my attention right from the beginning. Nora Roberts characters come alive for me. She's my favorite novelist for developing her characters.

What did you like best about this story?

Nora Roberts does her homework. I felt a couple of her books had more detail than feeling but this book was a perfect balance, and very believable. I actually cried at the end. I don't usually do that.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were a few scenes that were my favorites. I loved the letters that Suzanne wrote to Jessie, her missing daughter. They were right from the heart and read very well. I also loved the scene when Callie was playing the theme from Jaws to irritate her ex.

Another goodie

I always enjoy a good story with some twists. This one has many. A very good listen.

Amazing Love Story!

Everything about this book was amazing. A Nora Roberts classic! This story touches on adoption and who really makes a parent and live lost and found again with a child. Feel

still one of my favorites!

I'm not sure why others are so down on the narrators, I thought she was fine, even better than most honestly. the storyline of this NR book is just so interesting and different it has always been one of my favorites. I just listened to it for the first time since I read it 15+ years ago and it still is one of my favorites! if you like mystery and unique characters with a few sweet love stories intertwined this is perfect!

I love the way Nora pulls you into her stories so you have to cover to cover or listen to the end without pause.

male voices were a little too forced but characters were distinguished well with voice changes. Nora always keeps you on your toes.

I loved it. A very easy but interesting story line. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Good story. Narrator turns me off.

I’m only a few chapters in and I’m not sure I can finish. It’s a good story. But this narrator has an irritating way of sort of elongating words at the end of some sentences. It’s super distracting.

Good story

Callie was stolen when she was 3 months old as a victim of a black market adoption ring. She’s hotheaded but always wants to know the truth which puts her life and those around her into danger. Birthright is a good story, but the narrator wasn’t the best.

Would be better with multiple readers.

The alternate voices of this reader were not credible and didn’t fit the characters. The main character was done well. It was difficult to listen to because of the weird inauthentic voices.
