Perfect addition to the series

Lance Greenwood and Samantha Brentmoor did a wonderful job bringing one of my families to life and the narration was perfect.

I’m the first to admit that the Gallo Family is a family I adore and a family I would love to be part of but Ms Bliss has taken us to a whole different level with Nick Gallo’s story, this book is up there with the best in this wonderful series. I fell hook, line and sinker for this caring, protective, passionate man and I adored Josephine Carmichael. Jo is from Hollywood royalty but she has missed out on so much, her family don’t care or love, she has never even experienced a Christmas and my heart broke for her but you can’t get much better than the Gallo’s as a family and as we all know once they fall they fall hard and fast and one you are invited to be part of the clan there is no turning back ..... Spark touched me on so many levels, I cried, I swooned, I sighed and I laughed as I joined Nick and Jo’s journey and if you are looking for a book that is about love and family this is the book for you. I often struggle with second generations when I love the first generation so much but Ms Bliss is giving us a second generation as good as the first and I’m loving meeting them all. Looking forward to the next book in this amazing series. Highly recommend this to romance listeners.

Entertaining

I knew I was in for a fun read with the opening scene at the taco stand, and I was not disappointed. Nick and Jo are swoony and have you cheering them on. They each will learn a great deal, having grown up in opposite worlds from one another, one full of privilege and wealth, the other hard work.

Narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield was excellent. Both did a great job capturing the quirks and personalities of their characters.

One terrific listen!

This! This is how instalove should be. I'm usually pretty skeptical about instalove unless it's in the paranormal world, but Chelle Bliss did it so well that all I wanted was for Nick and Jo to get their HEA. There's like a magnetic force between these two, and their whirlwind romance was exactly what I needed for my weekend listen. The relationship is about as low angst as it gets, and the chemistry is off the charts. There is family angst for Jo as she deals with some toxic people in her life. Nick is right there for her, and I just loved him. He may not use a bunch of pretty words, but he definitely says the right things. We also get plenty of family time with the whole lot of quirky craziness that is the Gallo family. There is one thing at the very end of this one that threw me, but I'm thinking we'll get the whole story in the next book.
Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield give voice to these characters, and they capture them wonderfully. The emotion and the attraction between these two come through loud and clear, and there's a bit of tension toward the end that these two captured as well. To sum it up, Spark (perfect title, by the way) is another stellar romance in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. I'm pretty new to Chelle Bliss, but the more I see, the more I like.

I soooo ❤ this series!!

I'd read Spark last year when it came out, but I was lucky enough to receive an audible copy to listen to. It had just been long enough since I'd read it (1-ish year) that listening to the story felt like brand new book. This is part of the 2nd generation series of the Gallo family and specifically, Nick's book. He is Thomas and Angel's son and he's always been a bit of a troublemaker. It's in his genes. But he was raised right and when he meets a girl crying at a taco truck who's in need of rescuing, he takes the initiative and takes her home. Jo is Hollywood royalty... the child of two successful Hollywood actors... and discovers her boyfriend having an affair while they are on vacation. Of course, she bounces...I mean who wouldn't!!!! But she didn't quite think things through and was sorta homeless. They instantly have a connection and major "Sparks"... wooohhhwwwee I'm talking this book gets 🔥🔥🔥.

I love this story, I love this family, I love this series and the interconnected story, and I love Nick and Jo together.

Listening to this book was sooooooo much better than just reading it. Samantha Brentmore and Lance Greenfield made the story so enthralling and heartwarming. I fell even more in love with this story just listening to it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read/listen!! I highly recommend!!

I received an ALC for my honest review!

New auto-buy author

This was my first time reading a Chelle Bliss book but it won't be my last! I absolutely loved this book.

I haven't read the previous books in this series yet but I didn't feel lost or confused by not reading them yet. I am definitely going to go back and listen to the previous books though so I can get even more of the Gallo family.

Jo and Nick had such great chemistry together and the Gallo family is going to the top of my list of favorite fictional families.

The narrators were great and I enjoyed listening to both the male and female narrator. They did a good job of bringing the characters to life.

Addicted to Nick!

Deliciously addictive. I could stop listening to Spark by Chelle Bliss. I think this is by far my fave in the interconnected series, Men if Inked. Something about Nick and Jo was just captivating. Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor brought this audiobook to life with their superb performance.

Good romance!

I have been wanting to try Chelle Bliss for awhile now to see if I was really missing something. Her books may be a little rougher (for lack of a better term) than what I usually read, but the storyline was good and her characterization brought it home. I honestly could have used a little less of the foul language at the beginning. It really made it so that Bliss had to win me over instead of me just going with the flow.

This can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but I wish I knew more of the background of the members of Nick's family. Nick was super protective of Jo, while letting her stand on her own when she needed to. The romance was fast, hot and sometimes sweet between them. I'm not much on celebrity characters, but it was treated like Jo's past and so that didn't bother me. I loved the sizzle between the two!

I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrations by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield were very good. Sweet and rumbly respectively!

Thanks to the author and Valentine PR for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

A insta love treat!

I usually can’t stand insta love. But for an insta love book this is done well. It just makes sense with the mentality of these men. That once you know you know and that’s all there is to it. They easily convince everyone. This was a cute story. Low angst. Very happy. Good tension. Fairly good sexy times. I just adore this family though and that made me fall in love.

Lance and Samantha were so good as always. These characters were perfect for them.

A beautiful insta romance

Spark is book six in the Men of Inked Heatwave series and is the story of Nick Gallo and Josephine (Jo) Carmichael.
Nick is minding his own business and trying to eat his tacos in peace before going home after a long day when he overhears Jo crying into her Nachos and telling her cheating boyfriend she is done and wants him out of her life. Nick finds her settling down for the night in her car and being the protector, he can’t allow her to sleep in her car so offers his couch to her, not realising she is in fact Hollywood royalty.
Nick and Jo’s story was filled with drama, suspense, humour, sizzling chemistry, an insta connection and hot, spicy sexy times. Catching up with the Gallo clan was amazing, the witty dialogue and banter was entertaining and the way they embraced Jo and showed her what a family should be like was beautiful.
The amazingly talented Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield narrated this book. Samantha portrayed Jo perfectly. She tapped into her public persona, which was strong and confident, yet perfectly showed that away from the public eye Jo was sweet, broken, damaged and just wanted to be loved.
Lance was the perfect Nick, he showed that while Nick is a strong alpha, he has a soft centre and wants to be loved. I loved this duo; they really brought the story to life.
I really enjoyed this story. If you love romantic suspense stories with insta connections, then this is the book for you. Despite this being a standalone, I would recommend reading the series as the number of characters referred to from previous books can get confusing if you aren’t aware of who they are and their stories.

Spark is the story of Nick and Jo,

Spark is the story of Nick and Jo, who come from very different backgrounds, their chance encounter and instant attraction.

This was my first book by the author and I quite enjoyed it, I listened to it on audio and the narrators did a great job, adding a lot to my enjoyment.

I found the story itself to be a bit too over the top for my liking, but overall it was a good experience, I especially recommend picking it up in audio format.

I received a complimentary copy and these are my own thoughts.

Great series!

I'm a big fan of the Gallo family and really enjoyed listening to Spark - it's the first audiobook I've listened to from the author. The narraters really do a great job bringing Jo and Nick's story to life. I love how protective Nick is of Jo and their story is full of heat, heart, drama and suspense. I'll definitely be downloading more audiobooks from this author/series.

Super fast paced

Book 6 in the Heatwave series, and this one follows Nick Gallo. He has quite the meet cute with Josephine and from the Taco stand to the hotel room, their connection is boiling hot and it never fizzles. Jo isn't having the easiest time, her parents are famous and don't really care and everyone wants to use her or her name. Until The Gallo's come into her life and show her maybe a small town in Florida isn't such a bad place to set down roots after all. There's a little bit of tension with Jo's mother, but Nick never messes around when it comes to Jo. I read this in one sitting and I'm fully invested in this entire family. I volunteered to listen to a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Spark

Nick ❤️
He is one of my favorites!
A big heart and the typical: rough on the edges, soft inside

Jo plopped into his life without warning and those two are so perfect.

I can't get enough of the Gallo family and I'm happy that this series consists of that many books.

Another cracker from Chelle Bliss.

Yet another cracker of an audiobook from Chelle Bliss. Spark is the story of Nick Gallo and Josephine (Jo) Carmichael. They stumble upon each other at a late night taco stand and although there was friction between them at the start, Nick wins Jo over with his good manners and charm. Jo manages to do what no other girl has done before; make Nick want to slow and settle. Their love is fast and dirty and I loved every minute of it. A sprinkling of action, some guns, an uptight Hollywood mother, the Gallo clan (in all their crazy, funny glory) and Christmas in August make for a great love story that will keep you turning those pages or listening until the wee hours.

The narrators smashed this one. Lance Greenfield gave us Nick and he showed us his hard exterior but also his soft centre and his need to protect and love Jo. He shows her what family truly means. Samantha Brentmoor, fast becoming my favourite female narrator is able to unpack Jo’s vulnerability and her journey to resilience and strength in the face of danger and a cold family upbringing.

I’m now in the biggest book hangover as I have to wait for the next book in the series. I have really enjoyed bingeing these books. Fantastic stories with stellar narration. Can’t wait for Ember due out at the end of next month.

Enjoyed it

I love the Gallo Family and I'm always excited when a new book releases. Spark is the 6th book in the series and this is Jo and Nick's story. Their story was filled with drama, suspense, humor, heartfelt and emotional moments, excellent chemistry and some hot romance. Of course the addition of the Gallo family greatly added to the story as there is never a dull moment when they are around as the witty dialogue and banter is always highly entertaining. This was another great addition to this series and I enjoyed it. The story was narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield. They both did a great job with the characters, giving them their own voice and they brought the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this story.

These Gallo's though! Love them!

What is it about a Gallo man? Just like all Heatwave (Gallo) men, Nick is seriously swoonable! He’s got this tough guy personality going on but just like candy with a hard shell that inside is all soft and gooey and he definitely melts in Josephine’s mouth (YOWZAS!!!). I totally mean that as kinky as it sounds because these two are hot, hot, HOT!! The family dynamics always pull me in every single time. I love how they are always there for each other and support everyone that’s linked to their family. I just love that openness they have to the ones their blood relatives love. Jo doesn’t come into this family with that type of support behind her. I really loved how she was immersed into the Gallo family.

The narrators Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield are so good together. They both bring so much to the story. Chelle Bliss’s audiobooks always feel like I’m watching a good show. I might just get the story read to me but depending on the narrators, and these two are fantastic, I can visualize the story in my mind. It’s all brought to life by their voices, by their emotions. Miss Brentmoor has a sexy and soothing voice. She’s fun and charismatic. Lance Greenfield seemed to bring Nick to life. He also sounds sexy and completely charming. This duo is so balanced and so pleasing to the ears. I’m looking forward to the next installment for the Gallo family!

They just keep getting better

Nick finds Jo crying in her nachos after breaking up with her boyfriend and offers to help her for a few days. The connection and chemistry between them is great, the story is fun & sexy with just enough action. The story is loaded with Gallo family love and I just can't get enough.

Lance Greenfield & Samantha Brentmoor are a great duo of narrators and fit the personality of the characters so perfectly.

Fantastic

I’ve always loved Chelle Bliss’s books they are full of amazing heat, chemistry and family but these characteristics can be found in so many books what makes these so unique? Chelle Bliss weaves through a good dose of suspense and snark and unbreakable family bonds. This book did not disappoint. Between the insanely hot scenes and the caring quality of the characters this was a book I did not want to put down. Every time I listen to a Chelle bliss book I want to re listen to all the books for that family connection.

A 5 star listen and I just wish I could give it more.
