Loved it

I was excited when I heard that Chelle Bliss had a new series releasing.

If this book is anything to go by then she has a winning series in her hands.

This is Violet James and Shadow’s story. These two could not be more opposite and yet they work.

Shadow being the vice president of the Hurricane Heat MC is a man used to being in charge.

However, Violet also has to deal with an ex who is obsessed with her. That is where Shadow. Ones I , he will do whatever is necessary to protect her.

The chemistry is intense and I loved how their relationship progressed.

The narration by Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh brought the characters to life for me. Their voices were easy to listen too and they brought all the passion, drama, romance and suspense to their performances.

Out of a storm comes a love for a lifetime

Shadow meets Violet while she seeks shelter from an incoming hurricane. There is an attraction and unexpected circumstances give Shadow the opportunity to help her out of the dangerous situation.
I loved the chemistry between these two characters. He discovers she is being stalked and his protective personality comes out. This is a great read and even better listen. The narrators did a wonderful job with these characters ♥️

FMC is 32 years old and just moved to Florida. She’s on the run from a stalking ex-bf. She’s starting a new job as a librarian. She meets Shadow whenever she’s looking for a motel. He takes her under his wing 🪽 and provides her a place to stay. Shadow is 37 and has never had an ole lady. He connects with Violet unlike anyone he’s ever met. They ride out the hurricane 🌀 by riding each other. She ends up with a lifelong bond after that. There was some miscommunication but they resolved it in the end. HEA.
I can’t wait to see where this series goes… love MC romance 💘

Shadow & Violet: triggers- stalking, domestic abuse, assault. this book was okay, not as good as some of the other CB books but it wasn't bad. I love that there's a new MC but I was hoping that there would be more MC involvement in the story. I wish that the antagonist was really a big bad and that the climax was more dramatic. other than that, I loved Shadow and Violet together. I'm hoping this is will be a series.

Great MC romance!

This was a steamy and delicious listen from Chelle Bliss, narrated in dual by Kirsten Leigh and Lance Greenfield. It’s a fast and dangerous motorcycle club romance with some insta-love, found family, and plenty of spice.

Violet is on her way to start a life on her own after she broke off her engagement, and gets caught in a hurricane. She stops in for a stay at a hotel and runs into Shadow, who is there on some club business of his own. Shadow immediately wants to take Violet under protection from the storm. He starts to uncover some of Violet’s secrets and they find themselves immediately connecting with insatiable chemistry.

Kirsten Leigh is Violet and her performance is brilliant. She is an independent woman with heart and smarts — she isn’t naive or meek and I appreciate this in the writing and the performance. Lance portrays Shadow, and I loved his performance. It’s gritty, dark, and captivating. His energy is all-consuming and larger than life; just the way I’d picture Shadow in the club and as a romantic partner for Violet. Both of these characters see the good in each other. And the spice? These two are off the charts.

This is book one of the Hurricane Heat series, and I will definitely be continuing onto book two when it’s available.
