Engaging characters

Has been awhile since I’ve listened to a good audiobook. Kept me interested and not wanting to stop listening

Love this story. The suspense all through was amazing and the end was just really good. Narration was great and enjoyed everything.

wow! I just lost a night's sleep to finish this.

Vi Keeland' usual great writing. performed well, I'm Southern so I'm particular about dialects. This book has so many twists, I think I'm a pretzel. l loved this book!

A solid read but there are still some plot holes

I really liked the story but need more information based on the ending. I could’ve been satisfied if it ended on Chapter 45? However, there are some questions that still need to be answered.

I’ve read quite a few of Vi Keeland’s romance books and have been wanting to get into reading thrillers.  When I saw this book on Bookstagram I immediately went and downloaded the audio.  (Hopefully within the next week I’ll be able to read physical books or ebooks again other than just a couple pages at a time) 
 
This book held me hostage from the FIRST page!!  I suspected every character in the book at one point or another but never saw the ending coming.  NEVER!!!   This book has convinced me to read even more thrillers. 
 
Elizabeth is a college English professor with a past.  One of her online students submits a draft detailing events in exact order of something she experienced in high school.  Enough detail given that there was no doubt that the situation was her own.  Unnerved and determined to get to the bottom of the continued story submittals she heads back to her home town to try to uncover clues as to who the student is.
 
From her hometown the story and suspects only become more convoluted.  I may never get over the ending.  I absolutely never saw the ending coming.  I only hope someone knows what the instigator did and repays them with the same scheme that the instigator put Elizabeth through.  They never once saw the situation from her point of view!
 
I highly recommend this book!

So many twists and turns

I listened to this book paying special attention to all the twists and turns. The story was really good, as were the performances (note: “with” Aiden Snow … I missed that going in). Hang onto your hats, you’re in for a ride.

Amazing book,, Shocking ending!!

I listen to a lot of books, and this stood out!! I really liked the narrator (who also narrates a lot of Freida McFadden books). I really liked the main character, Elizabeth . I think the story was unique and kept me engaged the entire time! The ending though -- WOW!! I don't want to give anything away!!.. so I'll just say I highly recommend this book!!!! 🙂

Misleading

The story was good and the female narrator did a great job but to list Aidan Snow as a narrator was misleading. I realize the it stated “with Aidan Snow,”but he had one small segment at the end. It was disappointing.
