Badly written good story

The story is actually good, but the writing often is not. The biggest issue is the redundant sentences spending a whole paragraph to say one simple thing ten different ways. But I'm still hooked. Looking forward to the next one.

the narration is on point as always. The story on this one is probably less good then some of the other books, but still worth it.

Better than the last couple, still not amazing.

Repetitive narration and slow pacing mars what might otherwise be a really solid entry in the series. Even still, the addition of more POV characters really helps vary things up.

My favorite volume so far

I enjoyed the traveling aspect and having Hiro being weak and complaining all the time was pretty entertaining. I loved the icey environment, it had many interesting challenges.
The fighting was great.
Amazing volume
