Publisher's summary

Only in the movies does the Hollywood heartthrob fall for the small town diner waitress.

So when Dashiel Buckley returns to Cherry Tree Harbor for a wedding, I’m determined not to let my massive crush on my best friend’s older brother hijack my good sense.

(It happened once before. Do not recommend.)

But when my hand is injured, it’s Dash who steps in at the diner. The moment he realizes I can’t afford to fix my car, he takes care of it. And when he hears about the way my toxic ex treated me, he refuses to let it go.

Now, it’s not just his blue eyes and sexy smile that have me swooning–it’s the way he wants to help me. Encourage me. Protect me.

I can’t resist.

Our text messages heat up. Our phone calls melt all my defenses. “Just friends” turns into “just once,” and “just once” becomes a distant memory. Night after night, he warms my bed, my body, and my heart.

But it can’t last.

Our dreams have us on two different paths–Dash wants the lights, camera, action of Hollywood, and I’ll always be a small town girl.

If only I could be his.

Loved everything about this one

I love my visits to Cherry Tree Harbor and I was excited for Dashiel aka Dash Buckley and Ari DeLuca’s journey in Small Town Swoon (Cherry Tree Harbor #4). This Friends to lovers romance was everything I expected and so much more. If you love small town romances look no further than this gem of a read.

Rock Engle and Samantha Brentmoor did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with banter and the emotion and very easy to easy to listen to.

Ari has hidden her feelings for the friend that left Cherry Tree Harbor to follow his dreams in Hollywood. She felt he was out of her league but when he is home trying to find his inner self spending time together has feelings for both of them rushing to the surface. But what happens when Hollywood calls………
I knew when I first picked this book up that I was reading something special but it was only after the final word was read and the characters and their story was still with me did I realise just how special this book is.
I fell hard and fast for Dash, I adored Ari and I would love her as a friend but what made this so special was the way Ms Harlow makes you feel part of her stories. I highly recommend this entertaining read to everyone and if I could give it more than five stars I would.

Loved Dash and Ari!

I am late to the party for the couple of Cherry Creek, but I absolutely loved Dash and Ari's story! This book is aptly name since I was swooning for Dash from the very beginning. Ari and Dash had a special connection. Ari has loved Dash all of her life and Dash was always attracted to Ari, but never did anything about it. When he comes home for his brother's wedding these two give into the attraction. Their chemistry is explosive and you know that the friends with benefits is never going to work for them.

I loved how Dash really opened himself up to Ari and the possibility of letting someone into his life. He grew so much within the story. He had me swooning until the very end.

Ms. Harlow does an amazing job with small town romance and always has the right amount of sass and fun in the story. I can't wait to go back and listen to the rest of the series!

The narrators did a great job. The guy's woman voice sometimes grated a little bit on me, but I still loved the story.

Small town romance

Melanie Harlowe writes the best small town romances. This book is no exception. Ari has been in love with Dash since she was 12 years old. He's her best friend's older brother. He's been away for several years trying to become a famous actor. He's home for a month to work through some things to make himself a better actor. Ari decides to help him. They end up having a friend's with benefits relationship even though his brother says that one person usually ends up with feelings. I really like how both were supportive of each other's dreams. A wonderful ending to this story. I'm looking forward to Mabel's story. Rock Engel and Samantha Brentmoor brought the story to life.

Amazing Small Town Audio!Samantha Brentmoor SHINES

After reading this story as an eBook I was so excited to hear the audio and it was worth the wait!

Ari, Dash and Cherry Tree Harbor as a small town come to life in the capable hands of the narrators. The banter just makes me smile and hearing the characters inner thoughts makes this story even more real in my head.
Rock Engle does a great job as Dash, showing both his cocky, movie star confidence but also the softer side as he starts to fall for his little sisters best friend. The pool party scene was particularly memorable!

Samantha Brentmoor's acting talent absolutely shines in small town storytelling. She voices Ari with just the right tone and sass. From scenes with Dash to scenes with her parents, Samantha is able to show us subtle shifts in the characters emotions and intentions. And no audio review would be complete without mentioning Samantha's talent for the male voice. Hearing her voice the character of Dash was a TREAT! Her voice just gets the sexiest rumble rasp and honestly can cause a whole body shiver!

I adore this story Melanie Harlow has written and the audio just brings even more heart and charm to us readers!

I absolutely adored this Swoony story!

I absolutely adored this Swoony story! Dash and Ari's story is a highly addictive, fun and sizzling romance that captured my heart from word one! Dash broke Ari's heart before he left for Hollywood to follow his dreams. Ari is Dash's younger sister's best friend, who had a huge crush on him when they were teens. She offered herself up to him, and despite his own attraction, he does the right thing and turns her down. She has held a grudge for years, feeling completely embarrassed. Dash has been typecast in his acting roles. He wants a more meaningful role, but is frustrated that no one will give him a chance. He is home in Cherry Tree Harbor, trying to get in touch with the feelings he has kept locked down since losing his mom. When Ari hurts her hand, Dash offers to help her out at the diner. In return, Ari offers to help him learn to be vulnerable, and tap into his feelings. As they spend time together, the attraction they tried to ignore becomes impossible to deny. Their harmless flirting leads to some explosive passion. They know they both have different plans for their lives but never knew that when their time was up, it would be so hard to say goodbye. Can they still be friends after sharing so much but living completely different lives in different states?
I fell fast and hard for Dash and Ari. I really cared for them both, and loved how their relationship unfolded and grew. The more they open to each other the more they learn about themselves. I loved all the swoony ways Dash took care of Ari, along with helping her feel more confident with her food creations, and Ari helped Dash let go of old fears and feel safe opening up and being vulnerable. Their endearing story is loaded with witty banter, heartfelt emotion and smoking hot passion.
This story was made completely addictive by Rock Engle and Samantha Brentmoor's amazing narration! They were perfectly cast as Dash and Ari and I easily felt all the passion, heartbreak, joy, and love these characters felt. I loved both their deliveries as they brought this hilarious, heartwarming, sweet and steamy story to life!
I loved everything about this magical story from the yummy recipes, to the romcom discussions, moving family moments, and the sizzling passion, and so much more! I was completely enchanted by this beautiful, hilarious, and hopeful romance about opening your heart to that forever love.

Surprised

I'll be honest, I almost skipped this one because of the male narrator but clearly he has improved since the last time I tried to listen to him. The story was great. Nothing really crazy or profound just a nice simple read with low angst.

very swoon Worthy

oh the story is definitely a page Turner in other words I could not stop listening. I feel a little sentimental with her having her Crush that she crushed on in high school finally in her sights. that made the story fun it was emotional with the turmoil that she went through. it was definitely swoony. and by the end I had happy tears in my eyes, so definitely worth the listen
