She’s working herself to death at half a dozen dead-end jobs for some secret reason she doesn’t feel like sharing with me. And I’m going to fix it all.

Don’t accuse me of caring. She’s nothing more than a puzzle to be solved. If I can get her to quit, I can finally peel away all those layers. Then I can go back to salvaging the family name and forget all about the dancing, beer-slinging brunette.

Crabby meets snarky

I have been a fan of Lucy Score for awhile now and usually get her books as soon as they come out. This one did not disappoint. I love the interaction between the H and h. I enjoy books where the two main characters are very good at verbal sparring. This book is humorous and entertaining. Well worth the credit if you like funny and quirky. Be aware that there are multiple fairly graphic sex scenes. If that makes you uncomfortable, this is probably not for you.

Fantastic

I love this book it’s funny and the chemistry between Dominic and Ally is very strong. It is nice to see that their bantering was enjoyed by everyone they worked with even though they weren’t together in the first they were strangely protective of each other. Beautiful storyline. Love to listen to Sebastian York narrative but Erin’s male voice was annoying,
Too dragged out and painfully slow.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Many twists and turns. Loved the banter, two of my favourite characters ❤️

An Enemies to Lovers favourite!

By a Thread is a deliciously heartwarming, hilarious and fun enemies to lovers/workplace romance. It features a broody boss and sassy heroine that I couldn’t get enough of. It is a love letter to women and the ‘me-too’ movement and the author executed it perfectly with a ton of comedy and heat. The slow burn in this one was delicious and so worth the wait. A top favourite this year!

Incredible performances by Sebastian York and Erin Mallon. Their voices are beautiful and sexy and brought these characters to life perfectly.

My Favorite Lucy Book!

While the book was longer than most single audiobooks, it flew by! I couldn't stop listening and finally had to stop at 2am since I had to work the next morning. lol I cannot say enough about how perfect SebYo was for Dom...Grumpy Grump Face! He was really the only choice! I'm so glad I listened as it brought the story to life. I would have loved an epilogue from Dom's POV, but it didn't take anything away from the overall experience. A terrific listen.
