Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Such a cute collection of stories
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this audiobook... anyone with young kids would love the messages in the stories told.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved all the characters, but I think my favourite would have to be the little mouse, although he was tiny, he strives for everything to be right for his friends & is also loyal.
Which scene was your favorite?
Goodness me the stories ALL had a scene I found to be my favourite.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved how the mouse & the dragon convinced the little town that dragon was safe & so too was the forest.
Any additional comments?
I LOVED all the stories being told, they all had a lesson learned for the listener. Also I loved how Kat gave each character a different voice & accent.
