The Final Chapter

Kristin proby did a great job closing the story in her 5th book of this series. Though I wish I had gotten more of the Wilde family
(Because I don’t want it to end!) this story captures the charm of Bitter root valley, gives us that sweet love story with spicy sections in between.
Overall, a great book! I hope there is another spin off with the Blackwell family!

Best in the series so far

There’s so much pain and heartache but it’s all in the past. So the reader just gets to watch all the happiness come to a sweet man who went through h*ll with a salt of the earth good woman.

Just love this whole series!

Wonderful voice acting and decent story development.

I really enjoyed the voice actors in this book. the ML especially was very nice to listen too. I was not as enthralled into the story as compared to previous books in this series however, i can imagine rereading this again when I wanted to relax and listem to charming small town romances. Not a bad series to listen too.

Holden’s backstory wow

I don’t like DV at all. The one chapter from Holden has had me in tears 2 times over. And it’s the holidays. But I needed to know Millie’s story. Can’t wait for. Bridger’s story

The Best in the Series

She’s a Wild One is my favorite in the series! Millie and Holden loved each other since they were teens, but his POS father threatened something horrible if Holden doesn’t break up with her. 8 years later, jackass does everyone a favor and dies. He also gave Holden an ultimatum, marry someone in 60 days or loose the ranch. Holden, still in love with Millie, told her the truth of who his father was and about the clause in the will. Millie never truly stopped loving Holden even though she hated for what he did 8 years ago. She is also best friends with one of his sisters, so she agreed to marry Holden as a way to help them.

Holden had the “my wife” energy in spades! He proved his devotion to her from the day they eloped, and never stopped. He proved that he would burn down anything that would hurt her. Once Millie knew everything that happened 8 years ago, she was fully committed to Holden and was just as possessive over him as he was with her.

The romance was well paced and the plot was that woven around the second chance romance was heartbreaking. It also kept me invested not only in Holden and Millie’s story, but how the entire series wrapped up. This story was the perfect ending to the Wilds of Montana series!

Sebastian York and Grace Grant were perfect for the narrating Holden and Millie.

this story has a lot of emotion a lot of trauma of things have happened in the past. So I'd say that some people could be triggered by this if there's any abuse in your family because definitely This father of these children Was very abusive though you don't necessarily Have the abuse happening they're reliving it from the past so Like I said a lot of trauma in this book There's a good story though. I love Sebastian the mail narrator he's an excellent narration for this book. female narrator did a good job of playing her part. I have enjoyed this whole family cuz this is the last book of this family I'm sure we're about to start a new one. All these books of course are all Individual books you don't need to read the whole family but once you meet one person of the family you want Kind of Learn about the others so

This was such a great ending to the series!! I’ve been interested in these two for the last couple books now. This is book five of the series, but can be read as a complete standalone. But the whole series is great & you get all the full stories of all the characters throughout the series. Holden & Mille are from families that have been at odds for generations. They had a hard & fast romance eight years ago, that left them both heartbroken. Holden never really had a childhood, having to care for his sisters under duress. But with his father’s passing & with the conditions of the will, he must marry within six months & there is only one woman he would ever marry, Millie. The problem? She hates his guts! Millie has no idea the reasons Holden broke her heart eight years ago, or why he is always around town, coming into her store. She’s just trying to move on from the only man she’s ever loved. So when he propositions her with a marriage of convenience, she has some rules & conditions of her own. But her mind, body & heart are at odds with what they want. She thinks she is helping Holden & his sisters with this marriage, but Holden has no intention of ever letting her go again. This was such a great series & I can’t wait to read about the Blackwells!!
