A free-spirited proposal planner and a grumpy professor form a hilarious and unexpected situationship that just might lead to more in this steamy romantic comedy by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster.
Dog groomer and budding marriage-proposal planner Destiny Amor believes in true love and happily ever afters. Though it’s not in the stars for her yet—honestly, who can live up to the criteria on her Mr. Right Checklist?—she wants it for others. When Destiny’s first misguided attempt at romance concierge ends in disaster, she’s ready to call it quits, until the supposed groom-to-be steps in with a proposal of his own.
Ryan “Fletch” Fletcher, a divorced-and-never-going-there-again professor, needs to get his matchmaking family off his back, and the disorganized, too-in-love-with-love proposal planner is the perfect solution. He offers to help Destiny get her business on track, if she’ll play the part of his adoring girlfriend at his brother’s wedding.
A professional situationship with her grumpy dog-grooming client? Destiny adores his pup, and she could put up with him to get her business off the ground. With any luck, she might even get that chip about love off his shoulder.

Destiny moved to NY to be close to her best friend. Both her parents have passed and she still has a positive perspective on life. She also has a checklist for her perfect man.
Fletch is a divorcee who is grumpy and has no interest in a relationship or love. He never wants to marry again.
Destiny just so happens to plan her first proposal for her first client and when Fletch walks in, he begs Destiny to kiss him. Confused she does it. Until her client screams! Ruining the proposal. Fletch and Destiny end up talking and he states he will help her with her business if she plans to be his fake date for his brother’s wedding.
Once they become really close, both of them end up in a relationship but won’t acknowledge it as it is. The banter, the grumpy/sunshine, the quirkiness of these two were soooo fun!! Absolutely enjoy this book!

Sebastian York and Savannah Peachwood brings this story to life. Savannah portrayed Destiny with her cute southern charm. All nice and bubbly.Sebastian is his fine self, I can’t say enough about him. He could read the dictionary and I would love it.lBoth brought the emotions, their vulnerabilities, weaknesses and strengths of the characters with perfection. Great story and narration

Having both SebYo and Savannah Peachwood as Fletch and Destiny made it that much better. They sell you the grumpy/sunshine act to perfection, and Savannah’s slight southern accent just made me love it even more.
Destiny works at a pet grooming business, and she loves dogs, especially Molly… who just so happens to be Fletch’s pet. They get off on the wrong foot, though. He’s too grumpy for her, she’s too lively for him. In audio? Oh, it was fun!
Destiny opened her marriage-proposal business and jumped at the chance to wow her first client. Except the girl who hires her is obsessed with her teacher and decided to propose to him—Fletch. Awkward doesn’t begin to cover it.
While he should stay away after that debacle, when he realizes she’s in over her head, he wants to help.
They couldn’t be more different. Sebastian is perfect as the guy who doesn’t believe in love, while Savannah will sell you love in all its forms as the romantic Destiny. They’re sweet, they’re funny—and fun!
Since his family is all up in his business for him to find a date for his brother’s wedding, he asks Destiny to fake-date him. He doesn’t meet the items on the Mr. Right Checklist he found out she has, so they’re safe. No love. Only a friendship that grows into friends-with-benefits.
I loved their small moments in audio. The way he slowly starts to open up to this girl just as she tells him all about her parents. His family and the way they embrace Destiny. But especially, the way they fall. You can hear the longing and jealousy—something he’s not used to feeling—in SebYo’s voice just as you can hear the potential for heartbreak for Destiny in Savannah’s.
Because Fletch wasn’t made for forever, and forever is what Destiny wants.
There’s so much sweetness and so much love in this book that it totally sucked me in. It’s a feel-good book, and these two narrators had me swooning, laughing, and kicking my feet.
How could I not love it?
