Loved the battling but the story line was not as good as the other Sharpe novels. On to the next!

An emotional rollercoaster of a book. Sharpe takes you through every emotion a soldier could endure during such a trying dark time. His inner battle and his battle with his foe going toe to toe makes an intriguing classic!
