Publisher's summary

Discover how to help your child build the foundations of becoming a respected, successful, and wonderful adult in the future.

Do you find parenting to be the most difficult role you’ve ever had to take on, often getting overwhelmed by all the things you have to get done throughout the day?

Are you worried about the future and want your child to grow into a well-rounded, self-sufficient adult?

Are you looking for ways to improve your relationship with your child so you can grow an unbreakable bond?

Don’t worry, no one is telling you that you need to be the perfect parent. There is no formula that will tell you how to be the “perfect” parent. If there were, it would be plastered onto every parenting blog out there by now.

Sometimes, it’s not about being “the best”, but it’s about giving your child the right environment to grow and thrive in. Strengthening your relationship can open a world of happiness for the entire family. They look up to you, turn to you when they feel sad or confused, and admire you for everything you have been through - even if it doesn’t seem like it now. Children learn about the world through the eyes of their parents in the beginning but will experience it in a whole new way when they finally leave the nest.

And it’s your job as the progressive parent to let your child be who they want to be. You need to be an honest parent, a communicative parent, and give them a shoulder to cry on when they need it.

It’s time to open up your relationship with your child and nurture the person they are going to grow up to be.

If you’re still feeling doubtful, just remember that you are not alone in this. No parent can do everything. You’re only human, and keep in mind that your child is only human, too. They get frustrated just like you; they get scared just like you; and they get confused just like you. Experience these things together, be the parent they need you to be, and give them the tools they need to thrive.

Very informative

Good listen, plenty to digest and evaluate. I don't have kids but adults without them can learn from this also and help young people in their lives.

A must have parenting book!

I can relate to this book so much. Parenting is so hard these days. I constantly feel like I am failing as a mom. The world is changing with ongoing social media and technology makes it so hard for me to communicate with my children. As my daughter grows older I find it hard to communicate with her without yelling. I’m so thankful I found this book. I love all the tips and tricks about how to work on our relationship. This will be the book I will keep going back again. Especially when I lose my temper! I highly recommend this book for all the parent!

Amazing!

I enjoyed everything about this audiobook! It is a great eye opener on how to approach and improve on sensitive topics that a lot of us parents don't know the best way to bring them up in a conversation. I loved the advice given to strengthening the relationship with the kids so they can open up to you, I also liked that the author mentions that we have to be honest and communicative parents. I highly recommend this audiobook to all parents!
