Very helpful and informative for parents

I enjoyed listening to this book with Audible. As a parent of Nonbinary teen, I found it's explanations and terminology very helpful. I know as we continue on this journey I will be referring back to this book!

Good information at its core

The narrator pronounces certain vowel sounds in a way that is quite irritating. This includes the 'a' in the word 'family'. As this is a common word in this book, it is very distracting.

The core of this book is very informative for families with children who identify as non-binary or trans-gender. The listener does have to filter through a hippy-esque approach that often borders on being hokey. It is worth the effort, in order to become a more informed parent.

Informative

This book was super informative, thorough and inspires a lot of empathy toward trans kids. Also, the narrator has a lovely accent (Irish, I think?) that made the whole thing flow very nicely.

Incredibly helpful

This book is incredibly helpful for understanding what your transgender child might be going through and for understanding what it really means to be transgender. It's a wonderful resource for anyone struggling to understand a transgender or non-binary teen in their life.

Hard going

Found it to be very repetitive and did not learn anything , maybe useful for someone who has not heard anything about transgender .
