this story reminds me how beautiful life is. the romance, friendship, sisterhood and mother daughter relation is a gift. I hope the next book is as good as this one. I cried so much too!

tissue on the ready

Oh wow this book was so full of roller coaster of emotions. One moment I was a snotty, ugly, crying mess and next I was laughing out loud like a crazy town. I can’t wait to read Miranda’s story. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful Story!

I read the kindle version of this story prior to listening to it on audible. I really enjoyed the audible version because the reader used such an animated voice when telling the story. The southern accents, the gruff voice, the distraught voices of the main characters. It made me cry all over again in the sad parts and smile during the humorous and good feeling parts. I loved this story in both formats!

Amie Knight you slay me with each story! I really enjoyed this childhood friends to lovers romance! The friendship dynamics between Lori, Adrian and Ainsley demonstrates what it is to truly love with your whole heart! Furthermore, Adrian and Ainsley’s selfless support and devotion to one another demonstrates how love is supposed to be and made me swoon! The narrators were both new to me but did a great job. Definitely worth the read!😍🤩🥰😘😊

Beautiful

This is one of the better stories I've listen to. One that I will probably listen to again. Ainsley was a wonderful person with a kind heart who took care of everyone else to the point that she didn't know how to take care of herself. The relationships she had with Adrain and Loralie were beautiful. The way she loved them both and took care of them was heartwarming. This story follows these characters from the age of 8 up to their 20s with some tragedies thrown in that will break your heart and make you want to cry from them. The narration was good too. Overall a great book worthy of a listen.

Heartbreaking and beautiful

In this book we get to meet Ainsley, Loralie and Adrian, and we watch them grow and evolve along with the story.
We watch them mature, lose and find their way as they learn to deal with heartbreaking situations.

The narrative is beautiful, the emotions are raw, the anger and hope so very real.
But the love? The pure and unconditional love between the characters is what takes this book to the next level.
Where hope is lost, love prevails.

An emotional read that's sure to pull at the heartstrings of even the most tough of readers.
