Publisher's summary

From the author of These Toxic Things and Audible Original How It Ends comes a gripping short thriller about a young woman whose dreamy “glamping” weekend becomes her worst nightmare.

Still mourning the death of her own fiancée, Lauren Hudson must put on a brave face for her family as they gather in Zion National Park for her brother’s wedding. He’s co-founded a “glamping” (glamorous camping) start-up with Sadie, the soon-to-be bride whom the rest of the Hudsons have yet to meet, and they’re hosting their small destination wedding for their nearest and dearest right on their own campgrounds. But not long after Lauren arrives on the scenic property, doubts creep in about Sadie - could she be harboring a sinister secret? Or is the trauma of Lauren’s own past clouding her judgment? With the wedding looming ever closer, can Lauren discover and expose the truth before it’s too late?

Glad that this is a short one

Different story for me to follow…probably because it was boring. Narrator sounded like she was 16 years old. Just didn’t meet my expectations.

Nice Story, but

I really enjoyed the story, but I felt like it was kind of all over the place. It just seemed like a character would make a comment that seemed like it would be important and go somewhere. However, it just never explained things with the story line, and again just felt all over the place.

Well...

I had trouble understanding where the book was going. Some of the dialogue was difficult for me to follow. The author did a fine job with the conflict and drama. The epilogue was unnecessary for me.

Good story but narration was a problem

When I listen to a book, I think "would this be better hearing it or reading it?" This is one book better reading. The story was interesting and unpredictable. The narration was monotone, with no change between characters. It also had a sing-song quality with pauses in the wrong places. It wasn't distracting enough to stop listening, but I'm glad it was a short book.

nice Thriller

I liked that it was a shorter story that I could listen to from beginning to end I was wondering how it was going to get good as it got closer to the end but it did. worth the listen.
