Suspenseful. Entertaining. Surprise ending.
This short story was gripping and threw so many curve balls and subtle hints along the way the finally unexpected ending seems a relief. Great read! Could read it again and again!

Soooooo Good!
Wonderfully plotted, The House on the Water reminds me of the classic "whodunnits" in which a group of people are in an enclosed space -- in this case a holiday rental in South Florida - one of them dies and the culprit has to be among those who remain. I did not see the end coming at all...which is always a joy as a voracious reader of thrillers.
Just the right length for a single sitting; nicely narrated. I strongly recommend this book and will check out other novels by Margot Hunt. I hope they're as good as this one.

Totally twisted in a great way!
