Four very different women have just lost the loves of their lives: Justine, a former fashion model adjusting to suburban life; Camille, a beautiful, young second wife some suspect is a gold digger; Krystle, committed to leaving the firm to her sons after her husband worked his whole life to support them all; and Meredith, a stripper at the local club who was in a secret relationship with the firm’s sole female partner. While the crash is initially ruled a tragic accident, something’s not adding up: The team wasn’t supposed to be in New York that day, and it’s soon revealed that there was a very large sum of cash that burned up with the plane. Something different
Young Rich Widows was definitely different than any thriller I’ve read before. Like Melrose Place meets Married to the Mob meets one of the first waves of feminism. A lot of fun!

Original, fast-paced and witty!
What a delightful surprise! Like many other reviewers, I took a chance on this because it was free and the summary was intriguing enough. I'm so glad I did! The pace was perfect - developing the characters and the storyline without dragging on too long. The progression of the relationships between the 4 widows, and even the children, seemed somewhat natural (and sometimes hilarious). The story had enough twists that it wasn't completely predictable, but wasn't difficult to follow. The narration really brought the story to life. Hearing the story from the 4 different viewpoints and having 4 distinct voices to go with them was fantastic. It made it easy to connect with the characters. Finally, the writing was top-notch. Though each author had a little bit of their own spin, they all flowed together seamlessly. Such a fun listen!

From the first word this book had me.
This was a very unusual book. It had a beginning that grabbed your attention and kept it. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. The characters were really interesting and strong. The narration was done really well. The voices were perfect for the characters. Amazingly well done.

Wow!
What great writing and suspenseful performances. The ladies carry you through sorrow suspen and laughter. I don't like to give the plot line away in reviews. I will say this is well worth the listen it gets you right in the heart.
