The possibility that robots, in common with certain humanoids, might in time share certain emotions with their creators, has been frequently considered. John W. Michaels performs this sensitive short story by Felix Boyd.
I had never heard of Felix Boyd before. After I enjoyed listening to this short story, I checked Audible for other titles he has done, but found nothing. THIS is the ONLY piece of Boyd's work available on Audible. Kind of weird considering how great of a little story this was.
The story IS one of those science fiction clichés in which a robot struggles with primitive emotions, but it was executed really well.
Pick this one up if you, like me, enjoy your 50's style sci-fi. It's cheap!
