Critic Reviews

"Anita Blake, vampire hunter, is now herself a hunted woman. Who put the $500,000 price on her head - a man or a monster? It's not just her own skin she needs to save; the rivalry between her werewolf boyfriend, Richard, and Marcus, the other alpha werewolf in his pack, has come to full boil. And there's always Jean-Claude, the vampire who's been waiting for just the right moment to slip inside Anita's head and heart. Don't assume anything, though - Hamilton's probably got a few more surprises in store." (Amazon.com review)

Favorite

So far this book is my favorite in the series. I didn't get bored once. I'm not going to say that I'm thrilled with the ending, but I don't want to spoil anything so I'll remain silent. Can't wait for the next one.

My favorite of the series

I enjoyed this book more than her earlier ones, and much much more than her later ones. I enjoy going back and reading the Anita Blake series up until about Blue moon...and just lost interest in the direction she had taken. Out of all this has to be my favortie one though.

I really enjoyed this book and the series overall has been very entertaining. Light easy reading/ not to deep. Perfect

Good story line at a great pace.

What made the experience of listening to The Killing Dance the most enjoyable?

I really enjoy the narrator (Kimberly Alexis) without whom the story would have been good but nearly and memorable.

What other book might you compare The Killing Dance to and why?

I thought that "the Killing Dance" was similar to Mistral's Kiss. Both had the same feel to them. Almost too much a like.

Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?

Anita of course with a close 2nd as Johan-Clud

Anita Blake

Fantastic book. Start at beginning book and read them all. So good. Love jean Claude and Anita. Like Richard but not as much. You may prefer the werewolf to the vampire. Your choice
