Publisher's Summary

The UnknownWorld is reeling from change.

Bethany Anne has started to make a difference in the first week of being awake. Now, America has been losing good men since their teams don't have a vampire to help them.

Frank is hoping Bethany Anne can, and will, help.

Further, the American Pack Council is having internal problems with their own young-and-dumb weres who want to ignore Michael's strictures. With no one seeing Michael, the fear of the Boogeyman is starting to recede.

That's fine with Bethany Anne, it means she will personally deliver the message there is a new vampire in town.

Immediately following the story of Bethany Anne from Death Becomes Her, Queen Bitch rides a rollercoaster of action with a heavy dose of creative cussing. Bethany Anne starts to get a team in place to help her affect change.

Because, whether the UnknownWorld wants it or not, change is coming.

    "I liked this one more..."

This was much better than Death Becomes Her. Bethany Anne was in the book most of the time and when she wasn’t it wasn’t as boring as the other book.

After Bethany Anne killed Petre in the last book she headed to his father’s house with every intention of kicking his butt or killing him to. Unfortunately, she found a really, really old man, so that changed her mind. Everything worked out just fine between them.

Then she took off to the States and got involved with a covert group that took care of business with no one knowing what happened. It was just one battle after another and her always making wisecracks to her team. She was so funny sometimes.

There was no sex but the F-bomb was used 52 times.

As to the narration: Emily Beresford did a lot better narrating this book. Her emotions were much better than in Death Becomes Her, but there’s still nothing memorable about her voice. I have no idea why.

"Another excellent entry in the Bethenny Anne serie"

if the first two books in this series are any indication of what's to come then we are in for a fun and exciting ride.
Emily Beresford brings the characters beautifully and fully to life.
The writing, scripting and storyline are fun and engaging. Kudos to Michael Enderle for another excellent book.
I'm looking forward to starting Love Lost

"This series is the reason I now do audio"

I really enjoyed reading this series, so I thought it would be a good book to try audio on .I enjoy hearing the way she does all the different voices, and the proper way to say some of the words. This series makes me laugh out loud and it always brings a small to my face.

    "Finished in one day."

I really like this series so far. I have listened to the first two books in three days. I wish each book was longer. They are kinda incomplete stories if you just read one book. But the action scenes are entertaining and it has good humor. I could see this getting turned into a good TV show some day. It just sucks that I have used up two credits in two days to only get 12 hours of listening. I usually listen to books that are 13 hour in just one book. But I guess that's just good business for the author. It definitely won't stop me from using more credits to get the next books but now I have to wait 2 weeks for my next credit! It's just like my favorite shows season ended I have have to wait for the next season to come out. Oh well.

Book one is great, but to me this is where things really get started. John Grimes and the boys are the true heart of these stories and I love them all!

    "The bitch is back!"

Alright, the Queen Bitch is in the big house, USA, making friends and leaving corpses. Bethany is building her army for the fight for the world. Along the way there are a few heads torn from the bodies, millions of dollars being spent and designer shoes being brought in bulk.

Bethany is strategic in creating loyalty with humans and vampires. Her patience and commitment to values for the safety of people is her diving. This is an action pack story with many good killings.

I enjoyed that Michael Anderle has made Bethany a solider without the need to give her a love interest. She is preparing to save the world and does not have time for an orgasm. With an action packed story, there is a comedy too. Most of it is the clumsiness a person, vamp, or werewolf has when they meet her. But the cutest, yes, I used that word. The cutest is when Frank is called the nice pooch.

    "The title says it all!"
What made the experience of listening to Queen Bitch the most enjoyable?

You can see the action! You can watch as Bethany Anne builds her team - her team! A military leader of moral courage unhampered by rules, budgets, or restrictions guided by an unerring sense of "on your honor"! The depth of that concept in this context is inspiring.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Queen Bitch?

The lunch scene was such a good counterpoint to the military actions. A good meal after a hard OP. You could taste the pleasure an fellowship of the team jelling. Such a little gesture but such great ramifications for Team Queen Bitch!

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

She mixes the "hard-ass" military leader with a command voice so effortlessly with the "valley girl" "cutsy" side of femininity like a light switch. Her voice is clear, compelling, and draws the ear. That's not easy for someone to enjoy when you are hard of hearing in the female voice range.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

When she has a bad day, everyone has a bad day coming!!!

    Any additional comments?

Don't stop and don't slow down!!!!!!!!!!
