I think Michael made a reference to Masamune.
in a challenge against his former apprentice ,Muramasa, Masamune made a sword that would only cut those who deserved death.

Michael has a great way of making you look forward to the next book. I Michael's rescue and the part Asher is beginning to play in the overall scheme of things and of course another great performance by Emily.

Captivating series
I'm totally captivated by this series. I can see I will be listening to this multiple times. To experience the way the characters grow is just amazing Thank you for this one experience. Great job on the writer and the narrator for bringing it all alive

Fun and fast
Wish the later books series were also offered on audible. Was willing to add audible version to digital for extra money or buy it with credits. Prefer listening to action packed books while doing other tasks.

Just gets better and better!
I have liked all the books in the series thus far. However this one, I could not put down. Nonstop action with interesting turns. I am a dog lover at heart. This one pulls on special heart nerves. I love this book! LOL, now the anguishing wait for payday to get the next book.

Seriously something to keep u reading
I am wondering when you will introduce more black characters. I know this a late comment, because I just reading them in Late Dec 20 to present. So I hope you will add this as a serious thought as some if not most Science-Fiction writers seem to focus less on. I am a true science fiction geek to the bone and love listening and reading these kick#++ books. So surprise me. Peace
