Publisher's Summary

An ATF agent who lives for danger finds what he craves from an outlaw biker.

It’s impossible for a one-percenter motorcycle-club member to simply walk away - and no one knows that better than undercover Agent Bram, who’s almost killed for trying. His cover isn’t blown - yet - but it’s only a matter of time. The Heathens won’t be satisfied until he’s dead, so he decides to lay low and heal.

But when his younger brother’s disappearance throws a wrench into his plan, Bram ends up in Shades Run, a town ruled by the notorious Havoc MC. In less than 24 hours, Bram finds himself at the mercy of Sweet, Havoc’s president, as he throws himself into the undercover role of a lifetime: himself. A man who’s never belonged anywhere and who will do anything to protect his younger brother.

When finding Linc seems impossible, Bram is torn between Sweet, Linc, and revealing his true identities...and there appears to be no way out. Once again, he risks it all trying to save it all. Only this time, he’s got no backup to save him if he falls.

✫✫ 3.5 Stars Story With 5 Star Narration ✫✫

I'll start by saying I'm not a huge fan of MC books but this was very different than the one's I've read in the past. I wish there would have been a little more depth to the love story but that is just me and how I feel about insta-love between characters. I need a little more for me to feel the love if you know what I mean. Besides that I did enjoy the story and the difference it makes when the MC Leader is gay. This MC felt different, less criminal, less mean and a lot let whoring around and I really liked that.

The narration is the reason I grabbed this audiobook. I asked for narration recommendations in an MM Group and was told that Mark Larchmont was great and they were not wrong. I think his narration may have been my favorite thing about this book. It felt natural and each character had their own voice without the stereotypical voice so many narrators use for MM Romance. It was refreshing! I hope he does more MM Romance in the future because I would pick it up based on narration alone!

Book 2

This is the second book in the series. It was good but didn’t really hit all the right notes for me. Sweet and Bram were everything.

This is one sweet story indeed!

Bram and Sweet's story was a wild as all get out sweet ride. This series is so entertaining with a grade A. These two sexy men burnt the pages. And the plot is one that keeps you wanting more.. Pure joy to of listening pleasure, say the least. I so highly recomment their story. You will find yourself having one hell of a great reading day. With the narration that is out of this world. ENJOY!

Great narration

I loved this book and was anxious to head the audible. And I had no need to be anxious, it was great. Mark Larchmont does a great job with all the voices and I appreciated that I had no trouble following who was who in the dialog. The book was great and so is the audible.

New narrator, and glad for it

5 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Lets start with the narrator: Kudo's to the person responsible for the new narrator. Usually I don't like to switch narrators in a series, but this was a very wise decision. I was apprehensive towards the new narrator. How I was singing his praises! Hallelujah he was good! My goodness, Where was Mark Larchmont hiding. Why did I skip his audiobooks. His voice is perfection. His dialogues bring the characters to life. He sounds like he has done hundreds of audiobooks. I love his sexy ass biker voices and I hope to hear more of him. The emotions and hotness was a fantastic experience.
The book was the second in the Havoc MC series. Lots of drama, angst and true biker motherfuckers.

I loved the characters and could visualize the world they live in. The world building does originate in the first book and it bleeds into this book. The books are better listened to in the order the author intended. The story is about Bram who is an undercover agent searching for his lost brother Linc, and Sweet the president of the Havoc MC.

The sex scenes does not overcrowd the plot. About 35/65. But, wow, holy-moly, they are extremely hot and memorable, definitely something to file away for future private reflections (PUN intended). This author / narrator duo was the perfect recipe for alpha male biker dudes. I will look for more audiobooks done by them as a team.

I definitely recommend this audiobook

Grab a fire extinguisher!

Yowza! This story hit the ground running, on two wheels. Seriously, from the first moment in the alley to the end on top of the pool table, I was hooked, engrossed and on the edge of my seat. There is so much going on in this story, it never really slows down and that was fine by me. Fast paced, full of energy and sex, lots of angry sex that grew into so much more.

Braum really doesn't even know who he is. All he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt is that he has to find his brother and he can't stop moving, running, hiding. If he stops for just one second, everything begins to crumble and fall, the facade of whatever mask he's wearing that day begins to melt and he can't tell the difference between who he is and who he is pretending to be.

Sweet is a bad ass. As the president of Havoc MC he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders when it comes to his club, his men and their families. There is a bit of darkness in his past but he's always known who he is and who he's supposed to be. His men do not question his authority, they may argue with him, but his word is law within Havoc MC.

Sweet makes Braum stop, breath and feel. Braum makes Sweet want to take care of him, shield and protect him. They're fucking perfect for each other. Problem is, they're both too damn stubborn for their own good. The push and pull between them is electric, it's like a heavy fog that could be cut with a knife. The sex is off the charts from the start and it only gets hotter, better from there.

I did have one tiny issue and it might be a personal thing, but I do not like fisting. It pulled me right out of the story and I had to walk away for a while, then come back. Sorry if that's a bit of a spoiler but I think it should be listed as a warning in the synopsis. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Exciting MC story, top notch narration

Enjoyed this story with an exciting plot line, sexy moments, tender and hot. Narration brings both principals to life! This is a new author and narrator for me, looking forward to more of both!
