75% was really good!

Started off really well. It was funny, characters had depth to them and you could feel the romance building. But then it slooowed way down. Became repetitive and almost unbelievable in the “niceness” Of the characters. Almost seemed like there was a different author for the last third of the book.

Editing out profanity would have made this perfect

Such a fun and interesting story and quirky characters. If only the f-bomb and Gd’s weren’t so prolific.

Small town/sweet story

So this is a very long book 14 hours! And it goes really slow, with lots of unnecessary dialogue that does not support the plot. But the unusual small town characters may keep your interest and funny at times. Although the H/h are almost 30 it is truly a story of young love and getting over heartache and finding what makes you happy. Some of the characters are unlikeable at times but it fits with the story. I could not listen to this straight through, just a bit boring at times but it was an easy listen when working and I did not have to pay close attention. Narration was just okay.

The perfect julia

Omg I loved this story and recommend this to everyone!! This made me have all of the feelings from laughter to poignant it just hit all the boxes of what makes a great love story.
