A little too long actually

The story could lose a couple of hours, but otherwise it was great. The relationships were well built, but it was “a long time coming” to the change from friends to lovers. Once the heat started, it was volcanic, but it took 7 or 8 of the 12 hours to get there.

The point that they needed to be together had been made, as well as the fact that the relationship between the female lead and her fiancé and his mother was not going to work. It was repeated in too many scenarios. The whole battle about the red roses versus daisies would have been a great place to stop.

Also, from the synopsis I was expecting more of a battle from the fiancé.

It was great to see a vulnerable hero, especially one so previously alpha in other behaviors, but it was overall just too long.

So worth the wait

This was hands down one of the best audio performances I think I’ve heard to date! Of course the long awaited story of Breaker and Lia was going to be good. I mean, it’s a Meghan Quinn book after all! But these two definitely made the characters come alive and made an already great story even better.

A fun rom-com

Breaker and Ophelia have been best friends and inseparable since college, they even live next door to each. So when the time comes that Ophelia is getting married having a Breaker her as her maid of honor seems like the obvious choice. With only five weeks to plan the wedding with an absentee fiancé and a monster of a mother-in-law, Ophelia is going to need all of the help and support she can get. But as Breaker helps her make plans for her big day he begins to realize that his feelings of friendship have grown into so much more. Now if only he could only get the bride to call off the wedding, leave her fiancé and realize her true feelings for him as well.

Perfectly stunning story of Love

I can’t say enough about how good this book is. I listened on Audible which was told in Duet. Their performances brought Breaker and Lia to life. A must read or listen.

Friends to Lovers

I liked the duet narration of Erin Mallon and JF Harding bringing Lia and Breaker to life for me. Lia and Breaker have known each other since college when they met at a Scrabble club. They discovered that they have a lot in common. Breaker was ready to start more with Lia when she said that she really needed a friend. So he put all his feelings way down deep and they became best friends. Now years later, they are still best friends and live next door to each other. Lia is now engaged and asks Breaker to be her Man of Honor. He's taking it very seriously and won't let her soon to be mother-in-law take over the wedding without taking Lia's ideas into account. As plans progress, Breaker realizes that he doesn't want Lia to marry anyone else and that his feelings are more than just friends. Lia's also realizing that her fiance isn't the one for her. After she calls off the wedding, can Breaker convince her that he's the right one? I liked the friendships and family in this series and this is a great final Cane Brothers book.

Absolutely loved this book

I just loved Breaker and Lia’a love story that was definitely A Long Time Coming. These two were so perfect together and it just took them a little while to truly figure that out.

After Lia gets engaged, Breaker decides to help her with planning the wedding. Since her future mother-in-law is rushing the wedding with only five weeks to plan, Lia is grateful for Breaker’s help. But during the planning stages, they both realize the life they should have and it’s together. But they have been friends for so long, Lia isn’t sure it’s a good idea to cross those lines.

Breaker is determined to prove to her that they are truly perfect as best friends and lovers. But Breaker is nervous too as he doesn’t want Lia to realize she should have stayed with her ex.

I just loved seeing these two figure their feelings out and open up to each other in a new way. And I adored Breaker’s sensitive side.

There were many moments I couldn’t help laughing. Just love these brothers and their wives.

Friends to lovers that is oh so good.

This book was a long time coming for Lia and Breaker as it all started with a friendship and developed into so much more but both of our pair were too blind and too afraid to admit their feelings went beyond best friends.

Lia and Breaker are both a little quirky so they fit perfectly together but not so well with others. When Lia lost her parents Brian was there to help her through and over time he proposed marriage. That's when Breaker finally wakes up and thankfully so does Lia.

I wanted to shake Lia at times as she seemed way too dense for her own good but she is so likable I cut her some slack LOL. Breaker is hilarious and when he finally gets his head on straight he has a dirty mouth that will make you melt, or a certain part of you anyway. The supporting characters are wonderful and so much fun. I loved seeing them come together and realizing what everyone else already had, they belonged together as more than just best friends.

JE Harding, oh my goodness he brought the humor and the heat and was yummy. Erin Mallon, that is all you have to say is her name. She is fantastic and was spot on for every moment of Lia. I loved listening to this book from beginning to end. It is a long audio so you definitely get your money's worth. So enjoyable.

The perfect combination of Funny and Romance

The perfect combination of Funny and Romance. Definitely the best romcom author. I love this series so much and definitely the Cane brothers are perfection in Three. I love this story so much, I definitely LoL so many times. The audiobook is perfect, I’m a fan of duets thanks to this series. Excellent performance. And excellent story.

great story

at first I questioned the prologue, getting through the story I can see where it was needed. I had a few issues with it but once I got passed that and into the story I didn't mind so much. the story was very intriguing. it kept me hanging on to every word. I couldn't get enough. the audio was great. had one bad clip closer to the end but then it came back in sounding fine. I thought the narrators did a perfect job and I definitely would listen to this again.

Saved the best for last

This one was the funniest of the three. I like how Meghan gives snippets of possible upcoming books and incorporates old characters into her current series.
