Narrator is horrible

The narrator sounded like a robot who is out of breath. It was hard to listen and vet through it.

Unexpectedly Good

What does Michael Pauley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really liked his narration of this book. He did a really good job with the characters and drew me more into the story. I don't think I would have liked it as much if I had read it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just shock. There were a lot of revelations in this book. Also the flashbacks of the couple made me think awww. You could tell they had a real connection in the past.

Any additional comments?

I really liked the premise of this story. You can kind of just tell what Ivy's secret from the past is. I understood Lucas's stance on the whole thing and it took a while to see why Ivy did what she did and I think if she would have revealed that earlier this couple would have came together sooner. I understood Lucas's issues too. At first I was wondering why he was so cold to Ivy in the beginning but as his reasons began to emerge I could see his side. I was wondering how Ivy and Lucas would get over their past issues and I really liked the resolution to the conflict. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Just listen

The story is outstanding. Not predictable. the only issue was the reader. He was not exciting. he read in a monotone manner.

The Narrator is Aweful

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The story is good but the narrator leaves you wondering if a 5 year old is speaking through an adult.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Change the narrator.

Could you see Unforgettable being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes, I could see this on a lifetime movie. And with the right actors and actresses, it really could be a hit.

Any additional comments?

Read the book instead of listening to it. You may enjoy it better.

What a cute romance

I really got caught up in thus romance novel. I was so surprised that the author didnt over kill the sex scenes. It was just enough to keep you want the two to get together.

It was ok

The narrator sounded like he was constantly out of breath. I'm so sick of these wack narrators ruining these books. Unfortunately he narrates this whole series which sucks

The narrator yelled Lucas's lines

I could not stand Lucas. He yelled at Ivy the whole book. Or that's how it was read. I could not understand how she could be attracted to someone that growled/yelled at her all the time. I did not think they were a believable couple. I want to know more about Ivy's brothers but I might have to read those myself. Narrator was too breathy. I hated to give this rating. I really, really, really do.

Poor

Would you try another book from Delaney Diamond and/or Michael Pauley?

I will give Delaney Diamond another try because I think it could have been a good book. It was drawn out. The narrator was the wrong choice for her book.

What could Delaney Diamond have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It seemed the story was drawn out. The characters never connect with the audience. You never care what happens to the characters and certainly uninterested in their actions and responses.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Pauley?

Cary Hite or Alan Ryder

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

maybe if there was a different narrator

Any additional comments?

i would like to try another Delaney Diamond Audio Book with a different narrator.
