How steamy is it? Sizzling

Publisher's Summary

The romance novels of New York Times best-selling author Brenda Jackson have won an ardent following for velvety prose that can fluster any reader with the heat of her steamy tales. With In the Doctor’s Bed, Jackson writes a prescription for loneliness that takes “beside manner” to enticing new places. Readers won’t only want to take two pills and call the doctor in the morning, they’ll want to call the doctor in the afternoon, evening, and all through the night.

2 In the Doctor's Bed Stars

2 Stars doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, just means I didn’t love it.

The characters were great together; I liked the chemistry they had. I just kind of felt like the plot line was a little dull.

I liked that they couldn’t stay away from each other and their attraction couldn’t be denied. But, the “secret” love is just so overdone. Granted this didn’t end in a fiery crash thank goodness or I am afraid I wouldn’t have even bothered to review it.
It’s a sweet romance with not a lot of heat or plot. But if that is what you like then this would be the book for you, I just needed something more.

The narration was really good; I liked her voice and tone.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Meh.... Predictable

Let me first start off by saying the narrorator did a fantastic job!! She really put on a performance. The storyline was really blah.. It just didn't move me one way or the other. I found myself skipping through parts just to get it over with. Luckily it was included in the Romance package. Glad I didn't waste a credit on it. I generally love Brenda's books however, this one had no action, no real drama, or anything spectacular. We didn't even get to find out what happened to the people suing the hospital.

Great Story BUT

Left more to be desired. I wish the story was longer.

The narrator was AWFUL. Remember the name Sherri Peale, if you ever see it again DO NOT PURCHASE! She has a mouth full of spit!!! It sounds absolutely disgusting!!! And it's loud as hell!!!

This was a wonderful love story, but. .

I felt that the book was a little short and I urged for more after listening. I felt the character development could've been more in depth and would have loved to know what happened to the happy couple after their engagement. but it was a great story none the less.

Narrative swallow 😂😂😂

So I really enjoyed the story, I just love Brenda Jackson ❣❣❣❣ but the narrator left a lot to be desired. First she started off with this horrible accent then half way thru the book it disappeared. If you are going to start reading a character with an accent do it throughout the book not just half. Then the other issue that I have with the narrator is that every time she stopped to swallow it was loud as h@!! Lol it really distracted from the book.

Light and airy read! Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this novel. I would say, if I was actually reading it, it would be what you call a page turner. Ugggh couldn’t stand the nosey busy old body nurse chick/blocker (lol). I read this a while ago, but I remember wanting it to work out between Jaclyn and Dr. De Winter. The book allowed for a definite part two. I’m waiting.

I will definitely refer to friends.
