True Hearts

A cute romance in a small town. Sunny and Buck have reconnect after many years, for a wedding. The spark remains strong between these characters . As with any small town gossip and opinions of parents may get in the way of their happiness.

Stephanie Dillard did a good job narrating this story.

Loved the series!

This series has made me fall in love with the town of Lilac, I wish I could move there. It highlights both the best and worst aspects of small town life.

It was great to catch up with all the characters from the previous books and this book has some great twists that made it grab my attention and refuse to let go.

I loved the second chance romance, both Sunny and Buck go through a lot of personal growth during the book and felt like I could meet them walking down the street.

The narration is just as good as the book and makes the story come alive with character voices that match the characters personality and a dynamic delivery that conveyed emotion.

Clean fast pace small town story lots of friends, community, miss understandings and forgiveness make this book enjoyable I like it.

Great Read

True Hearts was another great read by Pamela Ferguson. Sunny is a hair salon manager who loves living her small-town life. Buck returns to their small town for a family wedding and Sunny realizes that she has strong feelings for Buck. Buck tried fighting off the feelings because he wanted to believe moving out of the small town was exactly what he wanted. I loved listening to Sunny and Buck's story. They are characters that you fall in love with. I can't wait to read more by Pamela Ferguson.

Family Matters

Her mother left town, leaving her in charge of the salon--but mom's still trying to run the show. His mother likes men, well enough to give five of them a child, but she's not interested in her own children and walks out on them. She's been best friends with his sister and known him most of his life. Can they get over highschool's heartbreaks and their mother issues? It seems too much parental attention can be as chilling as too little.

Narrator Stephanie Dillard does a great job vocalizing this complex, multi-layered story which forces the protagonists to work out who they are and what they want.

Super sweet romance in Lilac...

True Hearts by Pamela Ferguson was a quicker, but pleasantly enjoyable listen. It's sweet and innocent and shouldn't offend a soul. There's no language or sex or triggers. Sunny and Buck reunite when Buck ends up back in Lilac for a wedding. While they've known each other for years. This time around, sparks fly. The supporting characters as well as Sunny and Buck were all really likable and after listening to a true crime novel, this just hit the spot and was a perfect change of pace. I'd recommend this one to anyone that is interested by the summary. You won't go wrong with this one. It's just a cute, easy listen.

A Sweet Romance

This book is the second in the series but can be read/listened to as a standalone. It follows the second sibling of 5 half-siblings who share a mother but different fathers. as with the first book, the H is dealing with abandonment issues from their mom and the need to feel he's good enough. the h is struggling with her family's (especially her mom) expectations that she take over the family business. between their issues they realize they only need to be themselves.

SWEET ROMANCE IN LILAC!

Who doesn't love a good small town romance, right? Back in Lilac, Sunny and Buck meet again... .are they on, off, on, or off? Feelings are all over the place, and romance is in the air... will they work it out? I thought this was a great book, and again loved Stephanie's narration, I love small town life and this is a great story anyone will enjoy :)
