Publisher's Summary

Lilac. Where paths cross, sparks fly and love blooms.

Even though it sometimes feels like she lives in a fishbowl, hair salon manager Sunny DeStefano loves small-town life. When self-made businessman Buck Day returns to Lilac for a family wedding, Sunny realizes her feelings for him are as strong as ever. Will gossip and judgmental people keep them apart?

Buck once believed that moving away from Lilac would help him escape his family's troubled past and get over his crush on Sunny. Now that he's back, he realizes he wants a family of his own. Will Sunny risk getting involved with a loner whose family is as broken as his?

Love the Story - I wanted more!

This is a great semi-short story full of characters and their stories. I was hoping there was a second book about the other characters and the future for Sonny and Buck. I grew up in a small town so this brings lots of memories. :) Oh the gossip and fun loving characters in a small town. This is a great easy listen that warms your heart.

Awesome Overall Story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I loved this book. The author's faith was laced throughout this book. I grew up in a large town and have lived my adult life in a small one. Actually not far from where this story takes place. This story of Lilac is typical of small towns and their gossip grape vine. You have to take the good with the bad. It is apparent how small towns can affect the lives of the people who live there and influences their actions and decisions. This book was excellent, heartwarming and pure. Love is a gift from God and Pamela Ferguson did a awesome job of getting that across. The narrator was wonderful as well. She brought the characters and the story to life.

True Hearts

True Hearts
: Pamela Ferguson

Sunny and Buck had noticed each other years ago. His family history and her controlling yet loving mother don't mesh. Buck moves away and builds a successful business, but a solitary life. When he returns home for a family wedding, sparks fly. Will they get a second chance at love or will old problems keep them apart. The town loves to gossip and can be judgmental but they still look out for their own. A good clean romance with a whole cast of characters.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Stephanie Dillard made this an easy and enjoyable listen.

Great Book Two

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This is a great continuation of a small town filled with many unusual characters. This is Buck's story but all of the secondary characters play important roles. I loved the way the author told one complete story in Book 1 then another complete story in Book 2. The gossips of the town kept me laughing. I was glad that Buck finally had closure and got his heart and mind healed in the process. The narration was spot on and made the story come to life. Can't wait for Book 3.
