Publisher's Summary

He said all the right things... then left her alone. Troianne Shelden is your everyday, intelligent student. With a love for history and a stunning figure, she's a catch for any guy. But after a night of passion with a handsome stranger, introduced to her by their mutual friends, she finds herself pregnant with nowhere to turn for advice. Her parents passed away long ago and, soon after Troianne finds out she's pregnant, her grandmother passes, too. Left with a large inheritance, she looks forward to life with her new baby. Fate takes the wheel when she goes into labor. On her way to the hospital, she passes out from intense pain and wakes up in a very different place... The next thing she knows, she's hearing carriage wheels and voices shouting for help. Lightning illuminates the inside of what was, only moments before, the back of a taxi cab. When the door opens, she's greeted by a handsome man dressed like he stepped out of the past. In shock, she realizes that she's somehow traveled back in time... and she has no idea how to return.

struggled to listen to

narrations was bad to poor. All character s sounded female with only a change in pitch or trying to sound gutteral. I won't listen to snother storyline by this narrator.

I survived this book. Avoid!

Between the author's inability to write using high school level English, bad accents, inconsistent details, mispronounced words, I should get a shirt announcing my ability to survive the worst written book I've ever heard.
I'd add more words to that sentence, but it would just end up looking like a run-on paragraph.
It was so bad,I thought it was a joke. I listened to the whole thing, trying to find a single redeeming quality. I found one: it ends.
The amount of errors between author and narrator made this the audio book equivalent of old Kung Fu movies, complete with the laugh track.
I will un-purchase this with great alacrity./joke

Don't bother

It was the time travel romance that attracted me to the book but immediately the narrator drove me crazy. I tried playing it at a slower speed because I couldn't catch her words. But then I realised the words weren't worth catching. It's as if it had been written by a fourteen year old with a wild imagination but lacks the skill to execute her ideas. Shocking, just terrible - sorry nothing good to say. Excruciating
