Juvenile Acting Girl

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I guess someone where an older man seems to want to treat a young girl like a child. This is not a BDSM story at all, it just a story of a girl who makes poor decisions and is reprimanded by a internship advisor in the form of spanking which turns them both on.

Has Saving Summer turned you off from other books in this genre?

It all depends on the book..It felt like this book just couldn't decide what it wanted to be...a YA book or adult

What didn’t you like about Jim Sartor’s performance?

It sounded like an old man trying to sound young..emotions sounded contrived.... just hard to listen to..no natural flow

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

boredom

Kind of cute

First of all, I received a copy of the audio book free of charge in exchange for an
honest review so here it is. The story was kind of cute, with the zoo and monkeys and all, but it just wasn't really my sort of thing. I guess if a guy told me he was going to spank me or I'd lose my job, I would knee him in the man-bits and sue the heck out of him............but it was well written and the narrator did an admirable job. I think I would have used someone who sounded younger, or maybe even a female narrator, but that is just my preference, not anything against the narrator's work. Worth a listen if you like this genre'.

Saving Summer

Saving Summer
: Constance Masters

Once again I didn't read the last sentence of the description in the preview. I appreciated the mature content warning at the beginning so I wasn't totally shocked.

A young intern meets a man that thinks she needs discipline. Not as severe as other spanking book I listened to.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Jim Sartor
