Publisher's Summary

Jennifer Strayer needed an attitude adjustment. She'd managed to get fired from nearly every job she ever had thanks to running her mouth.

When a chance meeting lands her in Jack Kemble's office, she's offered the opportunity of a lifetime. Working for Jack Kemble's company is a dream come true. It comes with decent pay, good benefits, and a ridiculously sexy boss to ogle. But there's more to the job than meets the eye, and Jennifer's presented with lines she doesn't want to cross.

Will she be able to keep her job strictly professional, or will the billionaire playboy get his way?

This is a steamy romance with a side of BDSM. A spin-off from the Fifty Shades of BDSM Trilogy, it contains graphic sex and mature language. Suitable for those 18+ only!

More of a romance

This story is good but the bdsm doesn't happen till the end.
The narration leaves a lot to be desired.
This audiobook was given to me for free at my request from the publisher or author or narrator and I provided this voluntary review.

50 Shades

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Well there really wasn't much BDSM in this book...so I'm not sure I would have that in the title. I wasn't really a fan of the narrator either...she tended to drag out some of her words...ones that really didn't need to be.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sky Corgan? Why or why not?

sure...I liked the story.

What three words best describe Audrey Lusk’s performance?

its hard to give 3...at times I thought she was great & then there were times that she embellished or dragged out a word that just shouldn't have been

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I'm not sure.

Okay - Not My Favorite - A Bit Annoying

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. The female character is a bit too whiny and annoying. The narrator's voice doesn't help. It's almost like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. The story wasn't very exciting or kept me engaged. The erotica isn't till close to the end of the audiobook. The premise of this book sounded interesting, and maybe it would be better with keeping my interest if performed by a different narrator. She sounds a bit too old for the character and her voice isn't pleasing to my ears.

Nice Story

Any additional comments?

Jennifer has no filter and loses one job after another. She finally gets a job working for handsome billionaire playboy Jack Kemble. I respected Jen for resisting his advances and eventually resigning. But of course that can't be the end of the story, now can it? Will Jen get her happily ever after? You'll have to find out for yourself!<br/><br/>Resisting The Billionaire was a fast-paced and steamy listen, with lively banter. The story was well written, although I'm on the fence regarding the narration. There was only a little BDSM, so I really don't think it would be a turnoff for those accustomed to more traditional romances. I would recommend Resisting The Billionaire but the narration did take a little getting used to.<br/><br/>I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.

Sweet story

I was gifted this audio ARC from the author for a honest and unbiased review
Sky Corgan is a good author unfortunately Audrey Lusk let the book down just a bit. Even though I wanted to close the audiobook in the beginning, I stayed with it and was glad that I did. By about chapter 5 I got used to the narrating and enjoyed it.
The book itself well written and a very sweet ending.
I recommend this book in print form. Iffy on recommending it in audiobook as most people would have a hard time listening to it.

Girl Who Can't Keep A Job and Billionaire Playboy

“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

Jennifer can't keep a job because she can't control her mouth and has constant attitude. She gets a flat tire after an interview and a man named 'Jim' helps her out. He turns out to be Jack Kemble billionaire. She gets a job with Jack known for sleeping BDSM style with his employees 'Blond Squad' She refuses to sleep with him.
Eventually she quits her job and still can't forget him.
The story goes quickly, but not overly exciting..mostly because I disliked Jennifer!
I liked the manwhore Jack much more than Jennifer.
I really didn't care at all for the narrator. Her voice sounded too old for athe girl and the emotions were over the top and irritating. She wrecked whatever I liked about the book.

Resisting the Billionaire

I enjoyed the story. It's refreshing to not have the female lead go nuts over the hot billionaire from page one. The heroine's dramatics got a bit annoying at times, but honestly I think that had more to do with the narrator. I've always believed that a narrator can make or break a story and this one definitely didn't help. I found her overly dramatic delivery to be so annoying I almost stopped listening after a couple of chapters but I was enjoying the story so I stuck it out. This IS a pretty good story. If after listening to the sample narration you find the delivery annoying I would still recommend a print copy of the book.
