Graham Easton sends for a mail order bride, but when she arrives, he changes the rules they'd agreed upon in their correspondence. Unknown to her is, he has an ulterior motive for bringing her to Hunter's Grove. He stalls the nuptials by saying they need to get to know each other first, and invites her to live with his family in the meantime.
Grace Webster arrives to meet the man she's to marry, and discovers he's much older than she'd thought. He has grown children and a four-year-old granddaughter. When her groom changes their plans, she becomes confused and angry. She wonders why he brought her there, and for what purpose.

Graham is looking for a woman to help his family and even though he changes the rules at Grace's arrival, he cares for Grace and wants to do the best for her. The question is can he keep her even though his plans quickly start falling apart? Will Grace live out her namesake when she finds out what the secret is or will she leave the family that she has started to care deeply for?
Barb Goss weaves a wonderful story of loss, love and even deceit and how all is redeemed through grace, understanding, and forgiveness. Reagan Boggs does a beautiful performance with this book. I really enjoyed this book! Cannot wait for the next book in the series!
This book was given to me for an honest review.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to anyone who wanted a simple, sweet story. It tells of good people making the best of their tragedies. They are thoughtful and kind to each other. What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The twist of the ruse (you'll have to read it) is slowly revealed. Quite interesting!Which character – as performed by Reagan Boggs – was your favorite?
Grace is the character who stands out for me. Reagan Boggs was a good match. She was also able to do the male characters very well. It can be hard for a narrator to do both. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The child's view point was sweet and simple. Well done.Any additional comments?
This book was hard for me to get caught up in, it was very simply told. It was more of an oral story with little scene setting and description. I couldn't get attached to the characters, they didn't have enough dimension for me. But I loved the plot and the way the people behaved. No cringing because you can see what's coming, they actually acted normally. Sometimes they didn't talk about the problems and then they would. As I said, a sweet and simple romance. This book was provided to me free of cost in exchange for a read and an honest review.
Sweet Short Story

I loved this book, the characters (alright, Graham wasn't my favorite until I guessed the ruse), the plot and the narrator. A great book all around.
